Orchards Tap Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Vancouver

First time at Orchards tap, I felt welcomed, and the atmosphere had a friendly vibe. The bartender was really easy to talk to and attentive to our service. She was really good at her job. I don't recall her name, but she had blonde hair and a nice smile. The main thing that could use improvement was the actual building and facilities. It's pretty run down, and obviously hasn't been updated since the late 70s. You can especially tell by the cupboards and around the bar area and by the carpets. The ladies restroom was pretty bad too, but not dirty. Just in dire need of a refresh. I was there for happy hour, and taco Tuesday. I had the 6 TACO SPECIAL FOR $7.50 HALF CRUNCHY HALF SOFT, and an iced tea. The ices tea was brewed strong and it hit the spot. The ground beef was bland like it wasn't fresh, but the rest was fine. Next time I would probably get all crunchy. Free pool is always rad! Thanks for a fun lunch with a friend...

Well if your looking for good service and you show up one evening like I did about a month ago. You'll be hooked to this place. the only real problem we had there is most of the kj's need to quit skipping people. last Friday friend and I went got skipped over several times. then we went back on a double date and the same thing. they need to have a better way to keep track of the line up and pay attention to has been up to sing and who hasn't. I know the main KJ there and I'm really good friends with one of the bartenders. I really want to continue to come sing but get line up straight. my friend that went with me does run karaoke and does a lot better then that. besides that...
