Shen Chang — Restaurant in Washington

so we tried this restaurant for the first time today, even though only 3.6 stars, the regular restaurant that we go to is closetemporarily. We really wanted Chinese food, especially egg flower soup. We ordered several dishes and because we spent $50 they gave us an order of chicken on the house. One of the things we ordered was fried shrimp, and that was OK and so was the sweet-and-sour chicken. The rest of the food was some of the worst Chinese food we have ever had. Except for egg soup it was the most disgusting soup we have ever seen or tasted. so we dumped the soup didn’t eat any of it. We ate very little of the food, spent over $70 and basically put it down the drain. Needless to say, we will never order from there again. For anybody who’s thinking about ordering From them, I would think really long and hard...

Tried this for the first and last time unfortunately. I hate giving out bad reviews. But if you want to find good Chinese food, this place isn't it, I think they mainly make their income through their repeat customers.

Food was very bland, no taste, how does deep fried chicken have no taste, and why is the sweet and sour sauce so bright pink. if they don't use MSG they should probably start using it.

The place was dated and run down. Definitely need some replacements and upgrades.

Service was great, the two people I interacted with was friendly and fast.

Location is perfect central, a good amount of parking.

Prices was decent for the amount of food and comparable to other Asian and Chinese...

We’ve been ordering takeout from this establishment for awhile now. The (I believe) owner of the restaurant gets grumpier more and more each time, she literally throws the condiments in with the food. You can’t close out your Internet order WITHOUT adding a tip. I wouldn’t mind tipping if they gave you your takeout with a smile.

Tonight we ordered food and along with it was sweet and sour sauce. The sauce was spoiled. Therefore our meal wasn’t the same. We dumped it rather than drive back and endure the grumpy lady. This will be our last time eating here. I recommend going to any other...
