Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Ocoee

So I visited Popeyes August 12th 2024 Monday (that has a three-star review on Google), to get two orders of their two-piece, drink, side and biscuit. I normally receive unsatisfactory customer service at this location. Away after eating my food, I noticed black mold on the ceiling, and it dripping water from the vent. I was astonished at the sight, and didn't understand how they are open with the ceiling covered with black disgusting mold. If you know anything about mold, you know that it's very harmful to humans specifically.

There was an article written on WebbMD, that said:

First let me say rhat I've visited this location quite a few times and for the most part...decent service. But...my last visit will keep me from EVER going back!

There was a line for the drive thru and I can understand that. But waiting 22 minutes to get to the speaker is unacceptable for one. This is a fast food establishment!

Placed my order and literally waited in line, while the person in front of me was given their drinks and literally parked for 37 minutes! No one coming back to the window to give an update on their food, or asked to park just in case others behind decided not to wait any longer and wanted to leave.

I put my vehicle in park, walk inside and see the staff taking care of individuals actually going inside before taking care of the drive thru customers who have ordered LONG before them!

Get back to my car and honk my horn...because at this point me and my wife were done waiting. The guy, (manager) comes to the window and both myself and wife ask if he can ask them to park to wait for their food so we could leave. The manager states "their waiting for their food".

We stated we've been in line waiting for over an hour (for fast food chicken mind you) and want to leave. He tells the car in front to park and he'll bring their food out.

As I drive past the window...the manager blurts out "he doesn't know from the streets!!" My wife scrap to me to ignore his outburst and just leave which I did. I didn't feel the need to make a scene and stoop to that childish level.

Get back home after getting food somewhere else (which took all of 7 minutes mind you) and call the location to ask the name of the guy who worked the window wearing a yellow shirt. He smarts off stating there are 3 guys wearing a yellow shirt. I stated the one working the window who decided to yell "I'm from the streets".

He giggles and yells to his staff "hey he's saying someone yelled "I'm from the streets" and laughed. Unbeknownst to him...his female staff member yelled "that was YOU!!"

At that moment I asked for the manager and asked if that would be him. He then hangs up the phone on me.

Never EVER will I go back to this location! And YES...I have called their corporate office and reported the unprofessional behavior.

I don't want the guy to lose his job but if anything learn how to manage a fast food facility BETTER and be more...

I downloaded the online app and paid thru PayPal, so I couldn't just leave my order. I spent $52. As you can see, the mac'n' cheese was burnt. Not just a little, either. It was rather late when I ordered (around 8:40pm, or so). The order was scheduled to be picked up at 9:25pm. I arrived at 9:27 pm, went to the door, it was locked, rang the buzzer, no answer. I continued to ring a few more times and waited about 5 minutes. No one came to the door or even acknowledged me. So I went to the drive-thru. A few other cars were ahead of me. They had been there before I went to the door. After they finally went thru, it was my turn. No one even came on the intercom to ask me what I wanted to order. I waited an additional 10-15 minutes before someone came out and went to the trash bin area. I told him I had an order for pick-up. He went back inside. After a few minutes, he came out and told me to go to the window. Another 10 or more minutes passed, and I finally got my order. It was now 10:05pm. My order wasn't complete. They forgot a few items. So, a young man went back inside and bought the items out. So at 10:15 pm, I received my order. I think for the prices they charge, the least they could do is have good service. On a positive note. The people were personable...
