6/4/2024, between 12pm and 1pm. I entered the Subway Sandwich establishment with my family, inclusive of my 2 young boys ages, 9 &10 years old, along with my professional colleague. Our goal was to order 4 sandwiches for lunch. The male cashier was very helpful and started making our sandwiches, the female clerk/manager was at the back of the store and came out, addressed me in an unprofessional manner to the following statement "you people need to order all your sandwiches together" As a paying patron, I was confused at the statement and asked what did you say. Her immediate response was you people should order online or all at once, then the manager, said to me and my family, she would throw the sandwiches out if we didn't want them. I'm not sure this was the manner but this was a middle age African American woman and the African American young male at the cashier. She treated my family and I, as though we were inferior and subservient. Very unprofessional behavior displayed in front of a 9&10 year old. She threatened us to throw our sandwiches away. The young male cashier will be able to verify this encounter. Terrible service and kept asking me "Do you want your sandwich?" like this isn't what I'm in here for. I would think Subway internal operating procedures reflect and underscore the need for front line staff to at least attempt to offer relatively decent customer service. And that they pride themselves in Subway's organizational culture to treat all customers with respect. This staffer was disrespectful to me and to my family. She was extremely rude and kept asking if I still wanted our sandwiches and she can throw them away. How unfortunate, for Subway to employ such a less than desirable individual to interact and communicate with the public in terms of increasing Subway's revenue sales and ultimately, making sandwiches for the public. This employee no doubt, has cost this establishment some revenues. As a result of the rude behavior displayed and the unprofessional manner and disrespectful interactions by this store clerk, my family and I (4) of us, said no thank you and left the Subway establishment, upset and disappointed at the treatment we received. How unfortunate that a store clerk thought it was more important to be disrespectful and rude to us, rather than attempt to Garner another sale in terms of revenues for the company. Even my kids were disappointed and were surprised the store clerk addressed us in that manner. After that, they were very slow with the order and we eventually left. The higher-ups need to change their unprofessional staff at this location. This strategy is not good. My family and I will not return and thus, we were visiting from...
Read moreWhen I want to do a review I noticed there's a lot of negative reviews about a black african american woman it has to be her! This is her name Chaneshia woods. My story. I came because I've seen a commercial of Subway. And it looks so delicious and I hadn't had a sub in years. The special of today was cold cuts and they did not have any. I asked for my incovenience Can I have turkey instead. The young lady which was a white female forgot her name So we're gonna call her Worker A, however she Says she can't make that call and she called the manager chaneshia, She Say no, and she on the way. I waited 25 minutes for her to bring cold cuts. When chaneshia got there, she asked what did I want. I said I want a 6 inch, but a foot long would be nice because of my inconvenience. She prepped the meat up for a foot long. worker A prepared that foot long and she was charging me for the price of a foot long. I said I thought I was getting charged for the 6 in. When chaneshia responded i'm not honoring nothing I can and I'm not going to! Because it was so crazy how She responded on something that could have been handled professionally I thought it was necessary to record So I can have my side of the story documented. When I pulled out the camera chaneshia says she's going to sue me. Worker A ended up cutting my sandwich to a six inch and threw the other part in the trash. I paid for the meal and left. I thought about it and thought no one deserves my money After being treated as such Even though I was down the street I turned around So I can get a refund. I rather go and take my time and go to a different subway. When I return to ask for a refund , the worker A told chaneshia I was there For a refund. chaneshia says she's not going to give it Until the police gets there. Of course , that was unnecessary and it did not Make the situation better. I ended up having a anxiety attack and the Paramedics had to come. I have called Several managers hoping that this get Some attention so this Establishment can have some better reviews And experiences From this location. I have a full video of the Awful situation And i'm sure They have surveillance So they can see how unprofessional...
Read moreThis is the worst experience I've had at a Subway... I went there to purchase a flat bread to take to my fiance that was working a few miles down at a nursing facility. There was only one lady working, she wasn't very friendly or knowledgeable and didn't acknowledge anyone coming in! I felt she must feel overwhelmed however there was no quickness in her efforts to move things along. I feel that management set this young lady up for failure and she didn't handle it well! At least 5 people walked out while I was there and I was close but I was only 4th in line...... She was finishing the 2 subs for the first people as I walked in. The next couple purchased a footlong sub and had a coupon that she wasn't understanding. The coupon was for a buy one 6 inch get the second one free so they just had her make a footlong sub to make it easier for the employee. The next lady purchased a spicy Italian salad and I purchased a flat bread which turned out to look more like a pita and was even sliced that way. She asked if I wanted a receipt and I stated yes. She couldn't get the receipt to print and there was paper in the register to print it on. After she opened the paper holder and inspected it, took it out put it back in... I told her not to bother with it. I was there at least 30 minutes or more, I lost track. My fiance actually called because she became worried at how much time had passed. I hope that the owner and management of this Subway value their employees and customers moving forward. I also hope that the young lady will learn to handle what was clearly a difficult situation to be in with a better attitude, a welcoming face and some enthusiasm as that will get her much further in challenges we all face. I have no plans of purchasing anything from that...
