🍺 Beer Selection The head brewer, Eric Peterson (formerly of House 6 and Beltway Brewing), boasts a well-rounded menu of traditional and modern styles . Expect:
Lagers like the crisp Friesian Dark and the refreshing Kolkata Kölsch – the latter is cold‑fermented and lagered for 8 weeks
Ales including an Amber Ale (Marigold), Pale Ales (Parkway, Sona Wheat), and an impressive lineup of IPAs: Tropic Like It’s Hot, Hoptimist, Nirvaan, and Lucky 7 (hazy)
A solid selection of ciders rounds things out (guava‑passion fruit, pineapple, and classic) .
Ratings on Untappd hover around 3.7/5, with frequent reorders of the Kolkata Kölsch and Friesian Dark for their drinkability and balanced character .

Read moreWe visited this new establishment on Dec 21st on a whim as we drove past on Route 7. I tried one of the specialty Christmas cocktails "Berry Frost Mojito" and really enjoyed it. My husband enjoyed a few beers on tap. The food menu seemed decent but not huge. The one man musician playing was really good and enjoyable and although there seemed to be a large number of staff with nothing to do, those we interacted with were friendly. I decided we would return to try a few other Christmas cocktails. Returned on Dec. 26th ordered another specialty cocktail ($17 each mind you). It was ok but lacked the pizazz I remembered. I re-read the menu and a few garnishments were missing that I could tell (a pineapple and a cherry}. Not the end of the world. I noticed as well we are never served our glasses with a napkin or coaster. Tried another cocktail which was pretty good but lacked the rimming. Maybe my bartender just isn't that good with details. Wanted to end with the Berry Frost mojito I enjoyed with the rim of white royal icing. Again this time served plainly. I speak up and my bartender says they are waiting for a produce order. What?! Canned pineapple and cherries, powdered sugar etc should not go bad over a few days and can be bought at the grocery in an emergency. If you know this, make the customer aware and dont charge $17 for a half completed drink. Route 7 you have some staff training you need to do and some service details to work on. I do wish you success but we won't be...
Read moreMy family and I went to Route 7 Brewing for the first time on 5 April. First - kudos to our server Ashley. She was friendly, helpful, recommended food and drinks - she made our visit all that much better. Thank you, Ashley! Second - although the menu is a bit limited on selections, the great thing about it is that it has a number of shareable offerings. We ended up trying several and enjoyed passing them around so we all had a taste of various things. The hummus and yeeta bread was a tasty combination, with some nice spices on the spread. The pretzel and beer cheese were great. The spicy kick on the cheese really gave it a flavorful taste. Meatball sliders, chicken wings with honey-sriracha sauce, chili crunch shrimp, and pork bao buns all hit the protein spot, each bringing its respective sweet, spicy and filling flavor. One thing completely new and different was the Bombay Bhel - a combination of vegetables, chutney and spices - a delicious crunchy sweet and light spicy treat. Being an IPA fan, particularly West Coast style, I was a bit disappointed that they were out of a couple of beers I wanted to try. However, I found the Hoptimist IPA to be a pleasant brew - not overly hazy, which I am not fond of, and with sufficient hoppy dankness to please my palate. Finally, I did not get the name of the duo, man and woman, playing acoustic tunes, but they sounded good and nicely rounded out our evening. We had a great time and highly recommend Route 7 Brewing for a fun and...
