Sushi Twister — Restaurant in Whitney

So I have been there MANY times over the last three years, and I have never had such bad service as I did tonight. I was EXTREMELY disappointed. We had a long wait, but honestly, it's a small restaurant, so I know what the wait is typically, so it didn't bother me. We were seated and ordered drinks, and started out sushi order. We were watching the game on my phone, and the server noticed, so he put it on the projector, which was really nice, but the service just went down hill fast from there. My son ordered Miso Soup as well as my husband. However, they only brought one to my son. When my son was eating it, he said it tasted like soapy water, so my husband tried it, and he also could tell that it was off. So we sent it back. They didn't really seem to care that it had a bad taste they just kept serving it. We then ordered fried Gyoza. Waited about 15 minutes for it, our server came over and asked if we wanted to order anything else, and I asked about my Gyoza (and he corrected the way I pronounced it) and he asked me if I wanted it pan fried or deep fried, and I said deep fried. My husband also ordered an additional roll and edamame. As we were waiting for my food, my son found a hole hair that didn't belong to him in his drink. My husband's roll came pretty quickly, and I waited for about 10 minutes after he received his roll to ask again about the Gyoza... The server said he would go check on it, but at that point, I was just so over it all that I told him to cancel it. We were waiting on the edamame that my husband ordered and instead received the check. We never received multiple items throughout the night, and the server came back to let me know the cooks forgot to make the gyoza. We spent $92 dollars for this meal that was RITTLED with problems. Going to dinner is not cheap and we have never encountered a problem like this before with them. Hopefully, this review reaches them, and they make some positive changes because we really do...

I ordered online, got there with my son. Decided, I wanted to eat it there. And I was going to order more food and wine.

They ,come over to my table and tell me I can’t eat online order,at the Restaurant.

I said what are you kidding me. The food is paid for, and I’m ordering more food.

It’s paid for, and I’m ordering more food,and wine.

It was hot outside, just wanted to relax, with my son before he went to work.

Needless to say I won’t be dining there again,

They act like your going to run out without paying, and there food isn’t that good. And watch you like your going to steal something, sad they must get a lot of thieves as customers for them to act this way.

Then, when I was ready to pay with my bank card.

They tell me only cash? That they didn’t inform me of before I sat down. If they informed me only cash I would have just left.

I now my grandson had told me their food wasn’t very good last year

So, my son has to go out and get cash. Which made him late on starting his job…

Shutter when I think of...

Let's start with the positive: The Sushi is of good quality, and their prices are fair. 2) Service I've found to be attentive and efficient. The cons: 1)They are nazis with bringing in outside food! They don't serve Iced Green Tea( aside from the can), so I went next door to Starbucks. They literally took my drink right when I walked in and placed it in their refrigerator? Well, if you offered Iced Green Tea like most Japanese restaurants this wouldn't have this issue. 2)The stamp card. They give you a stamp card that after your 10th one it's free. Sounds great, right? Well how many people lose cards only to find them later? That would be everyone. Get this- they don't let you combine cards. What??'!!? Massively dumb policy! 3) If you order All- You Can- Eat they will be so conservative with the amount of Sushi you get- sure hope you like rice. 4) The seating- way too close to other people not allowing you to have a nice lunch without your neighbor hearing every word.
