Came here for dinner with my brother and his family. The server didn't greet me when I walked up or sat down. A "Hello, I'll be right with you" takes but a moment. I sat myself as the sign indicated. The server passed my table several times and didn't say anything. Maybe this is the culture at this establishment. When I approached her 10 minutes later she was friendly. She warned me that there would be a 20 minute wait on service. She didn't specify why but I assume it's because they were short-staffed. I appreciated the caution, however delayed, but tables should at least be greeted for this exact reason--so we know what to expect. I think even giving new tables menus to peruse and/or drinks would foster a little more patience out of diners. Luckily, my brother was late so the wait wasn't an issue for him and his hungry kids. Once our food order was in, everything came out quickly. The menu had various burger options with interesting toppings, reminiscent of Jack Brown's. But, unlike their predecessor, the quality of the ingredients, the flavor, and even the way the burgers were cooked was really disappointing. The buns were tough--difficult to chew and difficult to cut through. The food was warm but not hot, this might be due to the chilly weather and no indoor seating. We sat in one of the bubbles that was "heated" with a little space heater. All of the burgers were really lackluster regardless of how extravagant the ingredients seemed. The Angus patties were also dry and over-cooked. The seasoned curly fries all looked like they came from the bottom of the bag and tasted stale even though I had a few as soon as she dropped the food off. The wings were okay according to my brother. His wife's cocktail had too much sour mix in it apparently. I spent over $100 (not including tip) on 4 burger combos, a basket of wings, two soft drinks, a beer, and a mixed drink. Was it worth it? No. Unless they improve the quality of food I don't see how they can justify the prices of their menu items. Not sure if they're locally-owned but I was looking to support an area business tonight. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Kind of disappointed that this was the one place I went out to eat during my two-day visit. It could just be a staffing problem. There was only one cook and one server. I feel for them. I was a server and bartender for years so I know what it's like to be busy and understaffed or staffed with inexperienced people. Management should check the weather ahead of time and plan to staff more people on nice days like today. There's obviously interest in this place. Lots of groups came in after me. But, working with a skeleton crew pushes out results like this and will kill your reputation.

Food is amazing, staff is friendly, we shared a table with another local couple and they were so helpful with things to do in the area and other places to visit

This is a new restaurant, and we loved it! It is located in a little boardwalk style plaza with several other businesses. Parking was easy, and it shared a parking lot with the other places. It is outdoor seating only that I could see, so plan on getting take out if the weather isn't great. The view is gorgeous there. Wait staff was friendly, and the bathrooms and area were clean. Their alcohol licensing was pending so we didn't get to sample any alcoholic beverages. The food was amazing though. Their curly fries were served with every burger and hit the spot. I got the Burg, which was a bit heavy of a sandwich (I knew it would be going into it so I'm not upset). I almost wish it would've had something spicy on it or more fresh components to give some relief. The everything bagel was an interesting and unique concept that I enjoyed over a traditional bun. My dad got the same burger but requested a regular bun and said he also felt it was a bit too heavy. My mom got the North fork and said she was surprised but really enjoyed the pineapple on the burger, and the sweet chili sauce was spectacular. My fiance got the Yorktown and said the caramelized onions were really good, but he wishes there would've been more of them and the mushrooms overall. He also said it was a bit too greasy for his liking. We all agreed that the burgers were slightly overcooked for our preference, but the burgers were still juicy and not dry so we didn't mind. My only complaint is that we waited an hour for our food. We were seated immediately and ordered right away, but there were so many takeout orders and only 2 employees in the kitchen. If you plan on eating there, try to go at an off-peak time or just be aware you could be waiting a long time. I can forgive them though because the food was so good. We all cleaned our plates in less than 15 minutes.

First of all, the burgers and fries are delicious. But second, the service was not great at all. My husband and I came in on Wednesday July 2nd and ordered a couple burgers and sweet tea. The server took our order at the bar and then we went out to sit. She brought our food and never came back. She was not very friendly at all. She started doing her side work and the other server came on. We left a little disappointed because of that. My daughter and grandson came to visit us and I was telling her about the food and so she wanted to go. We got there and the girl said we needed to pay when we ordered even though we were eating there on the patio. Then I noticed a group ate and then took the payment to her. Another couple came in after us and she did not make them pay up front. She told them she will leave it open for them. It took close to 45 minutes to get our food when she told us about 20-25 minutes. Okay, cool, no problem. But 45 minutes, not good. I also ordered a sweet tea for myself. I went and got a refill because it was a cup full overflowing with ice, She was talking to a gentleman at the counter, seemed to be family or a daily regular, and said this sweet tea is not bad for food lion tea. I said let me see and she turned the gallon jug to me and said, it's just food lion tea. She refilled my cup with more ice and tea and filled herself a cup with no ice. Then I went back and sat to eat and then went to get a 3rd refill and she says, we are almost out. I thought that jug, so when she attempted to refill my cup, I asked for no more ice and she put a few pieces in the cup anyway and poured the last of the tea in my cup and only half way because it was all gone. I asked, so y'all are out of sweet tea??!! She just said yes and went on her way. To pay that much for a cup of ice with a splash of tea is absurd. Food lion tea at that which was probably a $2 gallon of tea. I was not happy at all. Then she says the owner told the cook to not do any branding because that wastes too much time. Really????!!!! Very disappointing. The girl said it was just her and the cook and the owner is out playing. The owner should have had their butt in there helping. To run out of tea at 3pm on a Saturday July 5th, is absolutely unacceptable. Close up or run your business if the help is needed. We would come back again but not when it takes over 30 minutes for a couple of simple burgers, 😕 Also had a group of 8 adults leave because the server was taking a break. Not enough seating for serving alcohol. That was a joke for seating. Hot in the bar area with a fan blowing in the side of your head when you are trying to place an order. Can't stay in business with this service. She didn't even know where the food went. It was like a food auction. Also, answer the phone. Food is good. Service, seating and stock, not good at all. Where is the rooftop seating that y'all have advertised on your website?? 🤣 False...
