888 Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Conway

I had a terrible experience today which is disappointing considering how many years we have ordered from this same restaurant. I called to place the same order I always do and I was misinformed that they did not have what I was looking for. I chose to order through DoorDash instead and just as I though the item I wanted was listed. I placed my order and when it arrived I noticed I received the wrong sized item. When I called the store back I received the same person and they chose to just transfer me to the manager. When I got transferred they immediately hung up on me after I said hello. I chose to just resolve my issue with DoorDash, and then I received a call back. The person who called me back was extremely rude and did not let me get a word in without interrupting . She then confirmed they did carry what I ordered and that the person who told me otherwise was a new employee. Ultimately I did not receive a resolution from them because the woman just kept trying to argue with me. I am upset at the horrible customer service they provided because honestly the food is pretty good. However, I will not support a business that unprofessional regardless of the quality of food. This is the best fast food Chinese food ever. We have been eating at this place for years now. I have yet to order something on the menu that I don’t like. Their combination fried rice is amazing their boneless spare ribs are delicious, their sweet-and-sour chicken amazing, eggrolls are wonderful, the broccoli pepper steak wonderful, sesame seed chicken perfect, and everything else that is made in that restaurant! We usually order and pick up in less than 20 minutes! You might have to remind them to put chopsticks in there and your fortune cookies but other than that I have absolutely no complaints and I can tell you right now we’ve probably been eating there for at least 10 years! I ordered from this establishment almost every other week. We use to order their hot sauce oil with our meal and they never forgot it. Well today they did. I still tipped the driver and called to ask if they can bring the hot sauce oil. The person who answered the phone put the phone down and proceeded to talk with other employees. I called again and he just sat in silence. I called again and he hung up on me. I called again and he immediately placed me on hold. I called again and he said thank you for holding, I asked if they would be bringing the hot sauce oil and he said yes then hung up on me. I finally called to tell him never mind, but they have lost my business. The individual replied ok, thank you.
