We should have left when we saw Italian food on a Mexican menu and no tacos. This place is a scam of a Mexican restaurant. The food was terrible and was very greasy and taste cheap. We ordered a large guacamole and got a small bowl of green goop, not even close to what was pictured in the menu. I had a supreme fajita burrito with chicken. It was very disgusting, it only had a few small shard of chicken and was packed with iceberg lettuce to take up space. The beans looked to be from a can and the rice was stale and inedible. My wife had the pollo asado and it was equally as disappointing as it had microwaved vegetables thrown on a small burnt chicken breast and nothing more. On top of the horrible food the service was excruciatingly slow. It is amazing that this place is still in business. I would not recommend eating here, there are many and more authentic Mexican restaurants in Conway to enjoy before disappointing yourself and waisting your time at Fabys.

Only the best Mexican in town! Hands down change my mind. In all my years of eating here, how have I not done a review…. Simple answer. I dont want to lose my nice quiet place to grab a lunch or dinner. But nonetheless conway residents and travelers to conway need to add this place to your must try list. The family who runs this fine establishment are so welcoming and they put the love they have into their food. Hands down best homemade tortillas I have had. Try them is you dont agree please let me know! My go to order is the fajitas poblano, I have tried many other items but the combination of a cream sauce with the peppers, onions, and mushrooms covering chicken and steak is just to good to stray from. Another great option is the stuffed avocado. This filled with shrimp or steak covered in cheese then deep fried…. Need I say more. Come try Fabys… you wont be disappointed

This wonderful Mexican restaurant in the Downtown area of Conway was not very crowded when we went in. Had never been here before but heard it was good. Excellent was more the word to describe our good and service. The Queso Fundido was a nice blend of chorizo and white cheese. The homemade tortillas were perfect. The talapia was a bit heavy for lunch but was delicious it a fine creamy sauce. Stuffed Avocado was baked but should have been fried because it was way too dry and bland. Otherwise, our meal was very good and service was excellent.

Faby's may have the best sauces of any Mexican style restaurant in Conway. They also have an ambitious menu with a wide range of entrees, including even Quail and snapper in addition to many many varieties of pollo (chicken). Uniquely they also have a range of pasta dishes, providing a more European theme. They also hand-make their tortillas. When you dine in they often offer a complimentary cup of soup or occasionally a piece of cake with the meal. They know how to make their guests feel well treated.

They don't always get everything perfect, especially in the pandemic era. The pork chops or fish might be a bit overdone. But you probably wouldn't want to carry them home undercooked, either, since you can't easily send it back to the kitchen for a bit more cooking. However they do offer everything on their entire huge menu for takeout.

And they DO handle the pandemic takeout procedure VERY well. We've found them to be very careful and also quite accurate with their estimates on how long the dishes will take to prepare. That makes a big difference when you're having to wait, masked, for your order to be ready.

As with most local restaurants they do offer table service with the usual pandemic protocols. They're worth a try whether you're dining in or carrying out. Photos of their menu appear on their...
