Hardee’s — Restaurant in Conway

I walked in while everybody in the restaurant was busy working and somebody let me know they would be with me in a moment. I didn't mind since I was traveling and needed to stretch anyhow. There was a lady sitting at a table in a Hardee's uniform and after a minute or two she got up and came over and took my order. When she was done, she went and sat back down, and somebody thanked her for helping. I asked her if she was on her break and she replied that she was actually off of work. While I waited for my food, she made conversation with me and thanked me for being patient.

It's not everyday that I see employees at a place of business who are willing to make sure that the customer is taken care of, even when they are off the clock. Tamilia (I apologize if I misspelled her name) went above and beyond for me today. I would have been just fine standing there waiting for somebody to get freed up. Tamilia's actions speak volumes about her character. She treated me like my time is valuable. I understand that places get busy and sometimes people cannot immediately be waited on. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, parking was plentiful and all of the other things that should simply be reviewed in a review were fine, but I am a firm believer that the people employed by a business make that business what it is. Literally the worst fast food experience I've had. Went through the drive thru (parking lot practically empty and no one in drive thru so didn't seem busy). Had a simple order, 2 sandwiches and 2 fries, while trying to order the lady on the speaker had an attitude to her voice and kept interrupting me to say "anything else" between every item. Got to tthe window and handed her my payment, got my card back and she said "waiting on fries" and slammed the window shut. About 3 minutes later came back with food and slammed window shut again while I tried to ask a question. Pulled into a parking spot to eat right quick, burger patties was somehow cold and burnt at the same time that the cheese in-between the patties never melted. Update 4/6: Went by and the chicken sandwiches are dry with exception of the massive amount of mayo they put on it. Very odd. Also the chicken is overdone. Tough, iendible parts. The pickles were good though.. so I guess there's that?

After finishing half the sandwich I was able to squeeze out of it an additional TBSP of mayo. And their mayo is RICH. So extrapolating this, and considering the other sandwich was the same way.. there should be over 2TBSP of mayo in each of them!! That's crazy!

Went by at 10:45 and they were closed despite hours being until 11.

Went by another time, changed from 1/5 to 2/5. Chicken strips were pretty good and only a few inedible pieces. Sandwich was too but lots of mayo for some reason. Good service. Just need to learn how to stay open until it's time...
