Ordered through Mobile app and went to pick up at 9:45pm. After 5-10 minutes, a worker came out and brought us our food. He informed us that the ice cream wasn't available and gave us the option to replace with something else or refund. I opted for the refunds. We had 3 ice cream blasts total. He said he would bring us a recipe after he put through the refund. We waited about 15 minutes and he never came back. We clicked the button at the stall and were quickly met with a rushed "drive thru only" answer and they would not even listen to our question. After a few more minutes, we tried calling the store with no answer. We finally attempted to go through the drive thru to confirm our refund had gone through as I wasnt convinced they even knew how to issue a refund to an app order. We sat in the drive thru and never received acknowledgement. This was at 10:20-10:30pm. They don't close until 11. They definitely were there, but had all lights in the drive thru off and would not respond. To say I'm displeased is an understatement. I'm here visiting family from out of town. All of our dinner was ice cold by the time we got home, but judging by the burnt burgers we got - weren't that great to begin with. I had to call customer service to confirm refund and by the way (to the store owner who seems to respond to Google reviews) - I requested that my issue and subsequent complaint be relayed to upper management. A shining example of rude and disrespectful is the server Eric. He drops my food in the car doesn't look or even speak to me when he's giving me my orders. I frequently visit this Sonic between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m. to get Sonic blasts that I order through the app. I just ordered two Sonic blasts at around 9:15 p.m. tonight, and when I showed up at 9:20 p.m., I sat and waited for 35 minutes before knocking on the window and being told that they don't have my order, and that they will not make my food. They told me they were doing drive-thru only, but had no signage or instructions for anyone who pulls in to the order bays. They also told me that they always shut their ice cream machines down before 9:00 p.m. every night, which is a lie because I typically get my ice cream after 9:00 p.m. They straight up lied to me to get me out of there, even though I placed the order on the app and they already took my payment. I visited this locations on 5/29 We did not know this and some of the signs must have blown down at the stalls because we pulled in and there was no sign, so we push the button to order and a lady comes on and instead of telling us to go through the drive thru like she very well could have she took our order and was as sweet as pie doing so. We only waited a few minutes for our food even with their staff shortage and another very sweet employee Alexis came out to give us our food once again she was very sweet and didn't say anything about it being drive thru only and made sure we didn't need anything else. We were sitting there to eat and Alexis came back out to re attach a sign to the stall saying the stalls were closed and it was drive thru only.
