U.S. Pizza Downtown Conway — Restaurant in Conway

I have gotten my salads from U.S. Pizza for a couple of years now. Their salads are to die for or at least they used to be. I’ve always gotten the same one consistently until recently. I’ve noticed my salads are wayyyy skimpier but the prices went up too! Look I don’t mind paying the money, but my large salad won’t even feed my husband and I anymore when it used to feed four of us. I ordered a large salad month or so ago and noticed it was fairly smaller, still tasted great but smaller. I didn’t say anything. So I ordered about two weeks ago and noticed it was way smaller than the last one so I called and spoke with a manager who was very nice and understanding and understood what I was saying as far as consistency. She offered to replace it and would note to make the salad nice and full and I could pick it up anytime I got ready for it. So tonight I decided to place the order for it. Got there, they took care of ticket ( thank you for that) but when I got home it was the same ole skimpy salad. I’m very disappointed in the quantity. We usually order basically double meat and this salad hardly has any. I don’t want to get salads from anyone else but U.S. Pizza you all have got to get it together! We came for the gluten free pizza because we were driving through little rock and chose this location based on user reviews, since it's a local chain. The gf pizza crust was NOT enticing. But, the service was great, the toppings were delicious, and the gf meatballs were worth the stop. We ordered 5 gluten free pizzas, and for being gf and specialty pizzas, the price was phenomenal!! They do not yet have it on the menu, but they now offer gluten free bread for their sandwiches as well, which really makes the vast majority of the menu possible for a gluten-sensitive individual! I don't think they have gf pasta to go with their gf meatballs, which seems like an oversight. But, with reputed salads, tasty specialty pizza with loads of options, and plenty of sandwiches, this is a gf individuals dream pizza/pub. We also loved the geeky display of pizza cutters and the coloring sheets based off local art for the kids. Totally worth a stop - just know the gf crust is wafer thin, but not...

We've been eating at this U.S. Pizza location since it opened, always a great experience until recently. The level of service seems to have really dipped. It feels like they are possibly short on servers, which happens, but I believe a note on the door, host stand, and/or menus would help set a better expectation for customers. The food is still great, but it takes a long time to get greeted, get refills, we've had multiple orders come out incomplete or not at all, and just super slow service in general for needs throughout the meal. I would also recommend for the runners and other helpers be trained to look for ways to help the servers with refills, sauces, extra plates, etc. or at least relay messages/updates to the servers to help the flow of service.
