My wife and I made an overnight stop in Conway on a Thursday night, and after several previous visits to Conway, we finally landed in the Brick and Forge Taproom for dinner..
If I'm being honest, we're kind of mad that we hadn't dined here before..
We started with a pair of their top shelf margaritas, substituting the recipe tequila with 1800 Reposado.. We were delightfully surprised when our drinks were presented in sealed carafes and accompanying salted drinkware..
We shared the mozzarella sticks and traditional wing appetitizers, then finished things off with their individual-size Double Trouble specialty pizza..
The mozzarella sticks arrived at the table hot and accompanied with a marinara sauce featuring small bits of whole tomatoes throughout.. While these aren't the most impressive fried cheese appetizer we've ever had, they held their own and were quite flavorful..
We followed the cheese with the wings.. I selected the hot 🔥 honey 🍯 sauce and couldn't have been more delighted.. The wings were amply sized, and the hot honey sauce had a nice taste and a latent kick.. My wife typically doesn't do wings, but after she tried one and then another, she declared these were the best wings she's ever had.. These were among the best quality wings I've enjoyed, too..
Lastly, the Double Trouble arrived on the scene as advertised.. Copious amounts of pepperoni, shredded cheeses, and a marinara sauce kicked up a notch with the addition of their buffalo wing sauce..
This pizza was decadent.. It's easily one of the best-tasting, non-traditional pizzas I've enjoyed anywhere.. The Buffalo-infused sauce was an immediate hit for both of us!! 🤤
Our server, Will, was thoroughly attentive over the entire course of our visit, and one of their managers, Josh, stopped by to check in on us a couple of times.. The service was fantastic..
Brick and Forge has a nice vibe, a full bar, and plenty of big screens for sports watching, too.. We'll definitely return the next time...

I guess they wash their menus with it. I’m not sure why you would use a cleaner with such a strong scent to clean with in a restaurant. The hostess was nice and took our menus and washed them with a different cleaner but you could still smell it on them and every time someone walked by with a menu. (I would suggest using distilled white vinegar, it’s a natural disinfectant and doesn’t have a lingering smell that mixes with your food smells.)
Aquarius was our waitress and she was great! Friendly and helpful with the menu.
We ordered the caramel sea salt fries they came out hot and were good. Not too sweet but you could dip them into more caramel that was on the plate, if you wanted more sweetness.
I ordered the fish with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and my husband ordered the power bowl salad with chicken. The waitress stopped by and said our food would be out shortly they were just waiting on the chicken. I should have known right there that meant my fish and potatoes were coming out cold. And they were. Even the Brown gravy was congealed. They didn’t look anything like other photos of the fish I saw and because it was barely warm, they were greasy. Our waitress offered a fresh plate or something else. I said just bring two new pieces of hot fish and please heat up the potatoes. The potatoes tasted good but the fish was similar to a frozen piece but even those are hot and not greasy. Our waitress gave us a free app card for our next visit but we were just traveling through so we gave it to the table next us.
Caramel sea salt fries - very good Power bowl salad - Delicious Fish & mashed potatoes - do not recommend
If we were in the area, my husband would get another power bowl salad. But until they stop using that cleaner, I...
Read moreI've dined and ordered takeout at Brick and Forge 3 times now. Great service and delicious food. A bit pricey but well worth it. I took my mom there for a late lunch one Sunday a few months ago which was out first time there. It was quite busy but the server was on top of her game. The food was delicious and our food and drinks was $100. We left our server a well deserved $25 tip. My mom wasn't too happy about that until I reminded her that I made through college waiting tables and bartending. Servers work very hard and deserve a decent tip especially when the service is top notch. Brick and Forge gets a 5 star rating for providing great food and service. The atmosphere is also perfect. I also ate lunch there the day my sister left her body, April 19, 2022, the most heartbreaking 💔 😢 day of my life. She was my best friend and confidant. We did everything together. I miss her greatly but I know it was time for her to transcend this this reality. She came to see me that night and we spent about 3 hours together. Although she was not in her body and she did not speak audibly I knew everything she said. It was a beautiful energetic exchange like nothing I've ever experienced. ❤️ There's so much more I could say but this isn't the proper venue. The staff at Brick and Forge made the day a tiny bit less painful by providing us a semi-private area to dine with 2 amazing young ladies to serve us. I was there with my niece, my brother and his friend. Again, 5 🌟
The last time was late Friday night. I was busy helping someone and we had worked up quite an appetite so I decided to try their pizza. We ordered a large pineapple and pepperoni and a small kitchen sink *supreme for take out. It was delicious! Another perfect experience with Brick and Forge. The best restaurant in Conway!'5 stars all the way around 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ 🌠...
