Vista Bev & Market (BEER STORE, WINE, VAPES, KRATOM) — Restaurant in Conway

This used to be our spot in the North Conway region. We stop by this morning at 10am on July 23rd on our way back home to buy some local beer to bring back like we always do. When we parked, we noticed that we forgot to put the trash away before leaving the campground (a small white bag). We notice a dumpster in the back of the parking lot so my partner went to drop out bag while I went inside. He noticed a sign on the dumpster so he came back to the car with the bag. In the meantime, the employee or owner (let’s hope it’s the owner because if not, this employee needs to be fired) came out screaming at him about the garbage bag. That he DID NOT throw away after reading the sign. We calmly tried to explain the situation and that we did nothing wrong but he kept screaming at us. Maybe he was having a bad day, but this is not a way to treat customers who did nothing wrong. We respected his sign and did not throw our single garbage bag in his dumpster. Even after trying to explain that, he kept screaming at us so we just left the store without making a purchase. So in the end, he lost a sale and good customers. We will unfortunately keep a bad memory of this place that was our spot for the last 10 years. And a bad way to end a vacation. Vista Bev, you need to calm down and treat your customers with respect. This little market has it all! There aren’t a lot of grocery stores nearby (have to go all the way south of town to Shaws), but if you need a staple, chances are this place has it. Didn’t expect fresh fruits, yogurt, milk, bacon, cold craft beer, and premium wines, along with all the typical convenience stuff you would expect. I’m always pleasantly surprised that this places makes it so I only have to go to one close by place to get...

Was here in the summer of '15 and tried so many great recommendations I had to come back for more. Clem is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, spent about 45 minutes with him last summer, and maybe half that today.. but the selection, combined with the new information, is totally priceless. If you're a beer aficionado, don't you dare miss stopping by here if you're nearby.
