LONG POST WARNING: I really don't like giving a business a 1star rating but this is sooo deserved. I ordered a 9ft Christmas tree on BJs online store and requested in-store/curbside pickup at this BJs location. The online buying was easy, the picking up part was not. First, they don't offer curbside pickup which I would have preferred so I had to go inside to member services. My expectations were low going in because Member Services has always been extremely slow moving in the past and they usually have only one person working behind the counter. Well, yesterday was no exception. I had to wait in approximately 25 minutes with only 3 people in front of me when I arrived. Every time I looked behind me the line was growing longer and longer. The young lady in member services spend about 15 minutes with one of the customers ahead of me. She seemed to be really struggling but never asked for assistance. Several employees walked past but never offered any assistance either. When it was finally my turn, I showed her my confirmation on my BJs app and she said she had to go get my order. She actually had to walk all the way to the other end of the store, leaving a long line of customers still waiting to be served or even acknowledged. There was never any apology offered to the members for the long wait. After several minutes of looking, she came back with THE WRONG ORDER. I told her I ordered a Christmas tree and she left again on her search. In the meantime, everyone in the line was looking on in frustration and disbelief. I asked her if there was anyone who could help her and she said "No, there isn't." I then asked for her manager who, in all fairness, she didn't have time to go find since she had an even longer line of members to attend to. So, I did get his name, Keith, and left with my very large and heavy Christmas tree (with no assistance from any employee). BJs...Keith, you must do better for our community! Unfortunately, you are the only big box store left in our local area which pretty much limits our choices of places to shop in bulk. I hope you will begin to value your members more...
Read moreThe man in the front didn't speak he just looked at me on the way in. I spoke. But It was cool until check out.. 2 lines open 1 line just closed.. NO CUSTOMERS in 2 lines. So I thinking of just going to the first one. Mind you I have 8 cases of water on a pallet and 3 small items and I'm 4foot 10 inches tall, so you know how hurt I'm feeling by just pulling the dang flat bed?! So as I'm approaching check out I turn my heavy flat bed towards check out around a shelf in the middle of the floor I couldn't see the other side, fyi there is an employee walking My direction and get this a cart on the other side of the shelf and get this too.... he didn't even warn me or try to get it out the way.. so i slowed my flatbed down backed it up and turned the other way... so i see 3 young ladies at three registers . 1 just finishing up her last customer and her light was out.. so of course she is closed. The lady on her left was there talking with her and the customer so since she was closest and since my load was heavy I went to her line... As i approach she glances at me and walks away. Then she grabs paper towels some spray and looks at me again. I'm in her lane and she still doesn't say NOT 1 WORD TO ME. I'm chillin because I work in retail and I actually like it and I actually like to see others do it and do it well or right but I also like to see the bad and learn what not to do and give my feed back with surveys and things like this Google place thing. But I'm venting because not only was I tired from work I had all those waters. Anyway the other young lady was on the right she looks at me and notices I'm looking at the young lady behind her who's register I was at. I see her look at me as well then looks back at the girl and she stated I can come to her line. SO I PULLED MY CART AGAIN PUSHED IT AGAIN IN ANOTHER LINE!!!! She was great though told me the took coupons. When I left the man at the door didn't say a word to me again but he was taking to this elderly couple when I was approaching.. Idk.. only good interaction was with my check out...
Read moreIf you live in the area or plan to visit this location do yourself a favor and do not come HERE! Worst customer service staff and they do not care to help you in the slightest bit. I was with my mother trying to prove to them I had a corporate discount code that I would like to apply when it comes to my membership and they ignored me when I was trying to show them the information the manager CJ asked me to bring in. I called right before traveling to the store which I told the manager I will be coming in an hour and when I arrived he REFUSED to come to the front. On top of that, Liz at customer service was so rude and short. She kept hopping on her phone and ignoring everything I was asking her then she was recording/taking pictures of us when I asked her why she was doing that she had an attitude and ugly smirk on her face and said “I’m taking a photo of myself” SMH which is a bold face lie because if that was even remotely true why would you be taking a picture of yourself while we were asking you to assist us with this membership and you’re on the clock. Her attitude was so stank and disgusting like why would BJ’s hire someone like this. Not only did I feel profiled as I am an employee of Cisco who had valid information on why I should’ve been able to redeem my perk but of course when you’re being judged by how you look as a black woman no amount of proof can earn you decent service or respect. I attached photos here so you all can be aware of how these people look since me and my mother were disrespected by a terrible employee who chooses to snap photos instead of render services. I will be filing a corporate complaint and I hope they resolve this in a timely manner. Do...
