Great burger. The sauce was good, but it was messy to eat (not a con, just an fyi.) I should have asked if they had pickles, as that was the only thing missing for me. Our party also got sidewinder fries and onion rings. Both were good. They overspent on packaging, with boxed food inside of a branded, sturdy paper bag that went directly in the trash 10 ft away. I'd love to pay a dollar less and minimize the trash generated. Speaking of price, these burgers were not cheap, but I'm not saying they weren't worth it. At this price point you can get just about any burger in town, so they better be the best. When I come back, I'm confident I'll get a great burger, but the next time it's burger night I may keep my options open.

Definitely one of best burgers I had in Cookeville! I not a big onion person but a must have on these burgers! They are hot and fresh off the grill. I had someone pick up my order and by time they brought it back to me it was still hot. Every bite was juicy and melty.

I ordered the double with sidewinder fries. The fries are so greasy, dirty oil tasting. I threw them away. The double burger paddies are swallowed by the bun. A gob of goop called Dave's sauce just made it messy. There was no tomato, but a tomato peal. One piece of a leaf of lettuce. The absolute worst burger and fries. Do not go here.

Dear Dave, Replying to your response. I drove across town to try you burger because of the rave reviews. This is an honest analysis, not a bashing. I would have told you to you face, but I didn't start to eat until I arrived back across town at my residence. It's not about the money, i.e. refund. I'm not a keyboard warrior either. It's about helping ppl not make the same mistake I did. My fault for not checking the box to make sure it was as ordered. Your fault for serving it. Your product is inferior. You had to know that what you served was as I described it. You prepared it and served...

Oh man, we just had an absolutely mind-blowing experience at Dave's Old-Fashioned Burgers at Trackside in Cookeville, Tennessee! The burger combo was straight-up phenomenal— juicy, perfectly cooked patties loaded with melty cheese, sweet caramelized onions, and their secret special sauce that’s pure magic in every bite. It’s like they’ve cracked the code to burger perfection! And don’t even get me started on the fries—crispy, golden, and fried in beef tallow, they’re hands-down some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Every bite was a flavor explosion, and the vibe at Trackside just made it even better. We’re already counting down the days until we can come back for more. If you’re in Cookeville, this place is an...
