OMG!!!
If I could give 10 🌟 stars, I would!!!
This little place is Outrageously EXCELLENT!
I am here on business from East Texas and always look for local independent restaurants to eat at when traveling.
I feel like I found a gold mine.
The service was on point and I feel that they exceeded my expectations.
The food was off the charts Great.
Bursting with delicious flavors. 😋
I ordered the big bowl of soup.
Filipino soup with chicken, I asked them to Make it extremely spicy for me and do not be afraid to light it up.
That was probably the best soup I have ever had.
I also ordered the chicken drunken noodles.
Again I said to light it up and Make it extremely spicy.
And again, the flavor, the texture the appearance was just Amazing!
The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures of both delicious meals.
The owner Irene came out to check on me.
She wanted to ensure that I was happy with how my food came out.
I told her that I couldn't be happier.
You can tell that Sweet, beautiful Irene is very passionate about her business, her customers and she puts an amazing amount of love into all of her meals.
What an amazing super sweet and nice lady.
I'm only going to be here for just a few days but I plan on eating here everyday if my schedule...
Read moreThis was my first time to Fil-Thai. It will NOT be my last! I decided on getting the lunch Pineapple Curry with Chicken & Pork. The only complaint would be there needs to be more meat & a bigger dish to put it in. It was sooo good! The noodles and veggies helped cool the mouth from the curry. I did get it at one star. So if you like a lot of heat, you can do that. Waitress also brought out chili paste, Thai Chili Flakes and Soy Sauce for me to added if needed. It didn’t need anything added! I dumped all my rice in the curry! Was very good!
My waitress also brought me small samples of the Thai Coffee and Thai Tea to sample. They were both good. I didn’t get them because they normally add milk with them. I can’t have milk. The base mixture was strong and good, just sweet. With milk and ice they would be very good.
Deceived to also try their Crispy Chicken! Very good. I like a bit more sauce, but I’m a saucy guy. I did add some Thai Chili Flakes to it. Very good! Will defiantly be coming back!!!
In reply to owners response: NOT complaining, just my opinion. I do understand it was lunch size! It all was very good! I will be...
Read moreWell, didn't eat at the main restaurant, but instead the food truck that came into Donelson today. Felt bad as they were having issue with the electrical, but they still managed to put some awesome food out. Ended up getting the pork adobo combo, that came with fried rice, glass noodles, pork, lumpia and a sweet and spicy sauce. I've never had Filipino food before, but after this, I'll be sure to find a spot that does serve. Pork was cooked perfect with piece of fat left on that melted in your mouth and was seasoned really well. Glass noodles were great, and had a few pieces of chicken mixed in. Fried rice was just alright, just needed a bit of seasoning. Real stand out was the lumpia. Really crispy with an amazing filling and a sweet and sour kinda sauce that was odd to me but good. Also tried a BBQ chicken skewer. When I got it, I was a bit worried it would be dry, but it was really tender. Only complaint there was I couldn't really tell if a Korean BBQ sauce was on it, or if it was just that much different from a typical American sauce. Either way it was pretty durn good.
Overall, recommend trying to restaurant or the food...
