Ice cream is good, but the rest of the food purchased was kind of meh. The hot dogs are self-served and are more expensive with fewer condiment choices than a basic gas station would have. The nachos and cheese were generic nacho chips. The cheese looked and tasted like room temperature Velveeta cheese. Can't speak to the quality of the coffee on the menu, but I did try their pineapple smoothie, called Pineapple Paradise, which left a lot to be desired as it tasted like what would happen if you started making a piña colada and gave up after adding pineapple and ice, then realized you were out of the good stuff so you just drank what you had. The ice cream was top-notch though. There was a nice variety of cones to choose from and the selection of flavors was fairly diverse enough to meet most people preferences. I picked the raspberry cheesecake flavor and was not disappointed. Would I go back there again? Likely not. There's just not enough there to justify the price at the quality for everything being offered and the novelty of the place felt like it was...
Read moreWe love everything about this place, literally EVERYTHING! The staff is super friendly and helpful but I was so impressed by their patience with indecisive young kiddos AND surly teenagers 😁 This sweet little shop is always super clean with super laid back homey feel or as my 7 year old describes it, "comfy" 🥰 They have cozy little tables and sofas if you want to hang out. But they also have a huge lounge area in the back for parties or just larger groups in general. OR walk across the street to check out the train depot, which is a great spot to snap some cool photos. I could go on forever and I haven't even gotten to the actual ice cream. It's AMAZING, by the way and I'm pretty sure their prices might be a little lower than the other ice cream places in town. So yeah, you should definitely make this place one of your regular stops. I promise it will...
Read moreCream City is a most wonderful walk back in time, like an old time soda shop feeling. Great owners and the staff is awesome. Now the Ice Cream, out of this world taste. Love so many of the flavors, Mexican Chocolate, vanilla, coffee ( actually tastes like a cup of coffee) Cream City is a must stop, if you come visit our Beautiful City of Cookeville Tennessee. If you live here I hope you have been there. I feel this part of town is almost like Mayberry, such small town feeling and the friendliness, of the people. Don't make a difference if they are sitting outside Cream City enjoying an Ice Cream, visiting the small Train Depot right across the street, or sitting outside at a local restaurant having a meal. Someone is going to smile and wave or strike up a conversation. You will never meet a...
