Bogart's American Kitchen — Restaurant in Cooper City

We were excited to try this place, when we arrived, easy parking, great decor, lively crowd and a fun band, a great start to a Friday evening. We must have walked in at just the right time as the hostess greeted us and showed us to the table. The rest of our time, the hostess podium was unattended. After 10 minutes of no service, I asked if they had a wait staff, they were all in the back of house, a waitress had to be called for us. We tried to order a bottle of wine but it took three tries, they were out of half of the offerings on the wine list. I gave up on the waitress to bring the beer I ordered so I went to the bar. I have to say, the only team member hustling was the solo bartender, I had a cold beer in under 30 seconds. I paid him with a $20 but he only gave back $5s, no 1$, I wasn't able to leave a tip, I did go back a few minutes later and left a tip but the bartender is doing himself a disservice by not giving some of the change in small bills so he could receive a tip. I ordered a pasta dish but no parmesan cheese was on the table or offered. When the waitress finally did come by to check on us at the end of the meal, I mentioned it to her, she said they had it in the back. Well that's a god place for it.... There were also no drink menus on the table or at the hostess station. The most profitable item in a resturant, drinks, are kept a secret apparently. During our experience, we got to see customer ager customer help themselves to menus and utensil rollups from the unattended hostess station. There was also a family with two small children that were allowed to run free, climbing and tumbling on everything. We didn't enjoy this display and staff did nothing to curb the behavior. We never saw any management. A full house, no staff, basic resturant policies not in place. I hope the management sees this and figures out how to run the place and create sales before the have to close the doors and wonder why...

I was looking forward to breakfast... Unfortunately, due to "a new system" the waiter couldn't take my order for over 15 minutes. I was patient for the first 15 minutes, even though they weren't busy and no one was ahead of me.

I empathized with the waiter as it seemed he really didn't know what he was doing. I asked if he could ask for assistance as it was getting late and my family was hungry. He asked for help several times and even the manager came out and "helped" by pointing to the screen and telling him to do X, Y and Z, but he was still having issues.

I was so frustrated that instead of the manager taking my order and figuring out the confusion after the fact, she simply went about her business and ignored me until I decided to leave. I couldn't sit there and wait any longer it had been over 20 minutes and they hadn't even taken my payment (takeout order).

As I was leaving the manager yells "thanks for your patience", in a sarcastic tone. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this restaurant. The service was incompetent and it's not the waiters fault, but the manager. It's management's job to train their employees properly.

There are better restaurants with better service here in Cooper City. No need to waste time on bad...

First I want managment to know that as soon as someone contacts me I will remove my post. I will warn you I will be going in person to make sure it was handled properly.

I work as a manager and I can tell you I am very disappointed at the lack of care managment has in regard to their bathroom. There is no way to dispose of feminine products in a sanitary way. The white trash bags attached to the wall had no bag and I can tell you by the stains all over the stall walls that those baskets do not get washed after its cleared! Gross! Can you imagine what I must think about the cleanliness in your kitchen? The toilet wouldn't flush and was running water constantly. Furthermore, when my boyfriend went to the restroom he stated the trash was full, had the toilet running, and lacked the same amount of care. No log was anywhere to be seen so I can tell you those bathrooms are not being maintained through out the day.

It was really upsetting since the food was so freaking good, but when I stepped into the bathroom I was disgusted! Please please give some TLC to your restrooms. I really hope your restrooms are not a reflection of the overall sanitation of...
