Great Wall II — Restaurant in Cooper City

So I'm a hard working man.. and I work a lot.. so I don't get to eat home cooked meals.. so I eat out 3 times a day every day.. when I say this food especially the hot and sour soup is the most delicious of all the Chinese places.. I don't lie. I didn't get fat to lie.. no.. this place is not only the most delicious.. it packs a bang for your buck..... If you think 🤔 for one second.. how much do you order out.. well I say this.. after eating their food you will eat out more.. I do construction and we're always under the gun.. so I move fast but proficient.. before my boots are off I'm ordering the dinner combe.. I like the chicken and mushroom. ( Found it on accident) I tell you this.. I'm a single man and my days are full of stress.. but when I say by to the delivery guy a giant smile appears on my face for I know what awaits me.. I wouldn't say I'm picky, but get my order right... And when it comes to the great wall 2 ... I smile because I know it's right.. if you challenge yourself.. order your food from many Chinese restaurants near griffin and flamingo.. then order from them.. you will realize you wasted your money.. because their is no comparison to the taste and value great wall offers.. this food is so amazing, I wake up in the morning and I'm like yooo imma eat the leftovers from last night... Only 1 problem... It's so good I ate everything, and I'm left standing with the fridge doors open like... Ummm 🧐 I'm no scientist but dang man I should have ordered 2 meals.. give yourself and your taste buds what they truly desire.. the great wall 2 is a breathtaking moment. Indulge in the moment, every bite brings me joy and happiness.. that's something money...

Just had a third delivery from Great Wall II and had mixed results. Speed of delivery great, the order was accurate and the food was nice and hot. While most of the food was great as usual, the premium item (Bourbon Chicken) was skimpy in quantity and way over-cooked. It was so over-cooked that the chicken was dry and hard to chew. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone, ever! That said, the egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken lo mein, and house fried rice were fantastic.

Happy to report that my second order from Great Wall II was just as wonderful as my first. The consistency is there, the taste is great, and the portion sizes are what you want them to be. The restaurant is kept very clean, which includes the kitchen area that is visible from the front counter. Choosing between Panda Express' mediocre Super Bowl family meal, on sale for $10 off and Great Wall II, I'm glad I choose GWII.

Hard to find Chinese food that's not greasy or heavily salted but Great Wall II passed the test. Ordered their Family Dinner for 4 with egg rolls, wonton soup, sweet & sour chicken, pork lo mein, chicken fried rice, and a side of crab rangoon. Aside from somewhat bland flavored lo mein, and wonton soup wontons that tasted somewhat off, everything was super delish, freshly cooked, and abundant served. Fortune cookies, Chinese noodles, and condiments were all packaged in the take out bag, which was so well packed that not a drop was spilled or grease mark left on the paper bag. I will definitely try this restaurant again. BTW, I witnessed COVID protocols and cleanliness being stringently adhered to while I was waiting...

I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my recent experience at Great Wall 2 for the sake of transparency and public awareness.

Unfortunately, shortly after dining here, I experienced symptoms of food poisoning, nausea, stomach cramps, and fatigue which persisted for over 24 hours. I hadn’t eaten anything else that day apart from the meal from this restaurant, making it the likely source.

While the staff was polite and the service was relatively prompt, the food itself did not seem particularly fresh especially the house fried rice and sesame chicken dish, which had an unusual texture and taste that, in hindsight, should have been a red flag. At the time, I assumed it was just a variation in preparation, but given the outcome, I now believe the ingredients may not have been handled or stored properly.

I’m sharing this not out of malice, but in the hope that management takes this seriously and reviews their food safety and hygiene practices. It’s essential that customers can eat out without worrying about getting sick. I would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution until...
