5 stars is not enough. My husband and I adopted a sweet 1year old terrier mix, who we named Maggie, on 12/29/2015 from MDAS. We knew she was Heartworm positive and MDAS was going to cover her treatment for that, she was also very emaciated. Because we have another dog at home, we wanted to have her seen by a vet to make sure she didn't have anything that could be given to our other dog. We called Cooper City Animal Clinic and the staff was super friendly on the phone and got us in for an appointment that day. When we arrived at Cooper a City Animal Clinic the staff was amazing, and very helpful. We were given paperwork on Maggie's microchip, financial assistance, pet insurance, etc. Maggie had some blood tests run, and X-rays taken, to look at the possible damage to her lungs and heart because of the Heartworm. Dr. Comartin was wonderful. She was incredibly patient, answered all of my 100 questions, most of which I asked at least twice. She stayed late and really took time with us to make sure that we felt taken care of. The next day, we got the results of the X-rays, which were hard to read because of how skinny she was. We felt a mass in her abdomen, which Dr. Comartin took follow up images of. The images came back but still weren't conclusive. At this point, we weren't sure whether the mass was a tumor, or an intestinal blockage and Maggie's symptoms didn't fit either diagnosis perfectly. A few days later, we brought Maggie in again because she had vomited and wasn't eating. The office would be closed the following day, and Dr. Comartin didn't want Maggie to go that extra day without some kind of treatment so she gave her some subcutaneous fluids. We had the option of doing an ultrasound to find out definitively what was wrong, or have an exploratory surgery done. We weighed our decision carefully, because money is tight for us, I am a student and my husband works. We asked Dr. Comartin what she would do. She put herself in our situation, and told us that she would just go ahead with the surgery because she knew money was tight for us and whatever they found on the ultrasound would most likely result in surgery anyway. On the morning of 1/4/2016, Maggie had vomited again. It was much more than what I had fed her that morning, which made my husband and I think it was a blockage. My husband called the office and we decided to go ahead with the surgery. Dr. Comartin got her in that day. Upon opening, they found that Maggie's body was consumed by cancer. They called and we made the decision to put her to sleep during the surgery because she wouldn't have lived much longer following surgery, and the rest of her life would be painful. Maggie had already had enough pain in her short life and we didn't want that to be her end. The entire staff was absolutely wonderful throughout the whole process. We were able to come in to say goodbye to Maggie, when we did the entire staff had tears in their eyes. We opted to have Maggie cremated, and we got her back in about a week. Neither my husband or I have ever had any experience with a vets office caring as much as all of the staff at Cooper City Animal Clinic does. We will be forever grateful for all of their patience, kind words, time, caring, advice, support, and love. We got a call from Dr. Comartin about a week later. We had expressed an interest in fostering, and Dr. Comartin had a dog that was found and needed a home. We decided to foster the dog. We only had her for about 4 days and she had already found a home. Cooper City Animal Clinic truly cares about the well being of their patients. I cannot say enough positive things about them. Since then, we continue to visit Cooper City Animal Clinic, and Dr. Comartin with any problems our pets encounter. She diagnosed our most recent rescue, Lucy, with anaplasmosis and helped us through her treatment. Cooper City Animal Clinic continues to provide excellent veterinary care for the four legged members...

We got our puppy at 14wks and this was the very first place that I brought him. From day one, the staff has treated us like family. I immediately fell in love with Alex, who is a God send! When he tells you to get insurance, do it! Don't think twice about it. Sammy was next, because she's such a sweetheart. Then to round off the already perfect staff, there was Dr. Garcia. This woman is AMAZING!!!! Granted, there are other staff members, who are equally awesome, but I do have favorites.
Bailey is treated like one of their own animals, literally. Whenever there has ever been an issue or concern on my part, they're always there to resolve it. I hadn't owned a dog in a very long time so, I'm always concerned about something or the other. Regardless if my concern is just me being extra or something major, I've always been treated with respect.
The hours are convenient and accommodating, with everyone pleasant at all times. Bailey is always so excited to go there and from what I understand it isn't normal for a dog to like the vet, but not him. His tail wags and body wiggles are on another level, when we pull into the parking lot.
Now, on to the care. Bailey has had all of his vaccinations from here, he was neutered here, and has been back in for quite a few other things. They've always been very diligent in finding out what the problem is and the underlying cause, while being mindful of the cost. I have never left and questioned why something was or wasn't done.
I love that Bailey's emotions are always considered. Prior to anything being done, it's always a consideration of whether or not it's going to leave a negative impression on Bailey. By the way, Bailey is an American Bulldog, who weighs about 90lbs at the moment. Yet, no one is ever intimidated. I can truly say that they love him. The only thing that I don't like, is that they don't board. Because, I'd never trust leaving him with anyone else (other than the trainer recommended by Dr. Garcia).
I could go on and on about this place, because I genuinely do love them and the service that they provide for my baby.
Instead of doing that though, I'm just going to say, if you have a pet that you consider family, take a chance and take them there. You won't regret it. At least I don't. Hell, I drive past 10 different vets just...

I took my pet for some medical concerns and after getting in a room seeing the front desk assistant, the technician and the doctor a care plan was put together. The doctor was not precise on the arrangement for the treatment for my dog. I were waiting to get a break down on the cost for my dog treatment, one of the front desk receptionist came with an invoice explaining the charges for the services which they don’t give you any options, once you question any charges it’s a big issue and they have an attitude. They try to bill you for services that is not necessary for the problem. I had some questions and the receptionist said she will pass my concerns on. After a few minutes another receptionist came in and was very rude and unprofessional asking me what was my concerns, I then said I have a couple questions for the doctor, she then said the doctor went on lunch and I will have to wait until she comes back from her lunch, I then asked to see the office manager. When the office manager came in he was worst, but we had an intense conversation. The doctor appears after a few minutes and I told her I will like to get a second opinion before I do anything with my dog. There’s to much to say about this place and my experience It’s not good. After the doctor already made arrangement for the dentist to operate on my dog in two minutes the dentist had no opening for my dog on that day then another doctor came and apologized for the mixed up and I then told her about her rude staff, she then said well I have to acknowledge the staff to be comfortable with the clinic. I then said if I’m not comfortable with your staff then I don’t trust your clinic in providing care and compassion for my pet. Please don’t contact me for any resolution because I would not use your clinic...
