I am blown away by the way I was treated on the phone by Elizabeth. She claims to be the owner of the place. Very hard to believe how you can treat the people paying your bills the way you did. I usually go to the Joes old school pizza in Hollywood. I have been going for years. I love the place. It is the only place I take my family to eat pizza. I was in the area and decided to pick up a pie of cheese pizza. When I got back home which was 15 min away I opened the box noticed it was cold. Toppings did not look fresh. Non the less I put the pizza in my own oven to heat it. Even by doing that the pizza tasted like something I picked up yesterday and re heated it up. NOT the JOES OLDSCHOOL I know. At this point we are full however I wanted to call to inform them of my experience. I was not seeking any more pizza. Just wanted to share my experience. As an owner of a company. I would appreciate my customers feed back and DO BETTER.. in return.. Elizabeth told me she is not there to argue with me and if I don’t like the pizza go some where else… then hung up the phone.. she did offer to make me a new pizza lol. I think she should sell the place if she is so miserable. If she even is the owner. Wow.. guys all I have to say is do not complain about your cold pizza or you are risking being mistreated beyond belief. I spent $37.43 on old pizza and a bad attitude. If my bank gets charged more then I spent. Expect to be reported. Your integrity has been noted in my...
Read moreThis is not a review about the quality of the pizza, it is about the rudeness of the owner. I have been going to this pizza location for 26 years and have been very loyal, buying from here even when the prices increased to make it much more expensive than other local shops. Yesterday, I ordered a pie and the person taking the order did not get it right. She added toppings including a non-vegetarian topping and the pizza came out to cost $42.49 plus tax. I picked up the pizza and questioned both the cost and error in toppings to the owner. Instead of saying anything like "I'm sorry" he said that he "just makes what is put down. That is what you got." I told him that I have been a customer for almost 3 decades. He said that is not possible because he has only been the owner for 4 years. His words, his tone, and his attitude has made me lose my allegiance to this business. I tried to avoid going to Steve's and John the Baker because of loyalty but that is now over. You have lost a...
Read moreI had to stop by my daughter’s doctor to pick up some paperwork and I drove by Joe’s which had New York Style Pizza written on the window. Since I recently moved down here from Long Island, NY I said let me see if they are really doing NY pizza like they claim. I got two large cheese slices and a can of soda for $8 which is a great deal. The pizza came out thin and crispy and right on the first bite I knew this was good pizza. It was almost 1:1 to the pizza place I went to back at home. The cheese was high quality and the sauce was just right not too sweet or overpowering. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the pizza came out and the Caesar salad was good too. Jose the owner is a great guy and running an amazing restaurant that I highly recommended.
I also told him about my luxury timepiece business that can be found on Instagram @lalussoco and he was very supportive.
Will be back for the pizza and to try other things on the menu....
