Wow, I can't believe an exquisite chocolate shop like this is located so close by to all of here in Cooper City. Just walk in the door and you will be blown away by the variety and quality of soooo many items on display. They also put together gorgeous gift baskets. The flavor, creaminess and quality of every item I have tried has just been out of this world. I have ordered several dozen customized baskets over the past several months to be delivered as gifts to valued clients and everyone is always so impressed to see the phenomenal display of hand-dipped gourmet chocolates. This chocolate shop reminds me of the fun chocolate shops in Downtown Disney. They have even more variety, anything your heart desires. I also use them when I need an impressive personal gift, like for a bday or housewarming. Everyone in Broward County should know about this place! It's like the best kept secret in Cooper City. I found Tasteful Thoughts after attending a FL Panthers game. The suite we were in offered cookies with the panthers logo on it and I have never had a better cookie! The taste, texture, & image were altogether incredible. I enjoyed it so much so that I took a picture of the label on the packaging! For my son’s 30th birthday, I reached out to them and asked if they do personalized cookies. Working with Michelle was amazing. She is friendly, professional, and a pleasure to talk with about ideas. The baker is the shining star though!! I picked up my order and was blown away by the cookies!!! They are PERFECTION! I’m obsessed! And my son (who isn’t a cake kind of guy) thought they were unique and also loves them. (Also, points for being the same baker that makes the Panthers cookies haha). I stumbled upon Tasteful Thoughts on a recent visit to Cooper City. Tucked into an older shopping center on Griffin Road at Pine Island, I had a taste for chocolate. What a tasteful thought.

A locally owned business, I found the owner – Michele – to be friendly and polite. She answered a bunch of questions and I made my order. Quickly boxed and I was on my way.

Chocolate dipped graham crackers, cake pops of various varieties, peanut butter cups, crispy treats, chocolate and white chocolate Oreo’s, chocolate covered marshmallows, and chocolate covered pretzels – my kids and I loved them all.

Did I use the word “chocolate” too much? I hope not.

Tasteful Thoughts is closed on Monday – when I’m usually visiting Fort Lauderdale – or I would stop in more often.
