I do not even know where to start... I have been eating at this restaurant for years. i like to go during the week for lunch as their all-you-can eat for the price is descent for my seaweed salad, ginger salad, JB roll, and Spicy Tuna fix, it is a good fix for the price. It's not the quality of your typical buffets, it is definitely better. It is not as good as the higher quality sushi offered at many other restaurants, though.
I went in tonight, first time for dinner, different staff, restaurant completely empty, at 6pm on a Saturday evening in Coral Springs...NOT A GOOD sign. The pizzeria (Pasqualis) next door was packed and had a waiting list. My husband told me to go treat myself for sushi after my sons' soccer games. I had a rough couple months...my mom passed away. He took the kids to get fishing stuff for our fishing trip tomorrow and a bite to eat.
I walked into Chopsticks, to take alone time and to treat myself, as my husband told me to do, the staff was rude, took forever to get acknowledged, I sat myself, waived down the staff who were just standing around talking. The service was never that great there in my past times of dining there, but never this bad. Not only that, the dinner price was $10 more than their lunch price, and they offered exact options and portions. I ordered shrimp pad thai and I sent it back, one small piece of shrimp, barley any sauce, no peanuts, and the pasta was a big, starchy, clump, stuck together.
Their bathroom was disgusting. Vomit all over toilet, sink, and floor. I remember I thought that bathroom was not the cleanest in the past. For an empty restaurant, staff standing around and talking, you would think they would be sure the bathroom was clean. When I told the waitress, she said they will clean it after they close tonight.
i will never eat...
Read moreWhat everyone forgot to tell you in this review (namely the ones that gave good reviews) is that to eat the food that they consider tasty, you must first have to argue with an angry 3 foot tall female "Jackie Chan." If you happen to catch this wicked old lady on a good day, she'll probably just raise her voice a couple times at you, as opposed to screwing up your order and and blaming you for it. Today is the last day I will ever go there. She gave me attitude because I wrote down my dads credit card number for her, as opposed to bringing the actual credit card. So she walks back out all pissed off because she's apparently illiterate and starts angrily reading my credit card number out loud because she wasn't sure "which group of numbers was my credit card number" (not realizing that it was ALL the numbers I wrote, not just four of them) so I kindly asked her to lower her voice, and she ignored me and started reading it out loud again. I complained to the owner, so he then proceeded to tenderly ask Ms. Nastypants to calm down (because he never does anything more than that), and as soon as he finished she walks back out and starts telling me that from now on I bring a credit card or she won't serve me food. And the sad thing is that she starts a problem every single time I go there, not just with me, but with other costumers. Anyone willing to put up with this every time they walk into the place, (even if it were the greatest place on the planet, which it isn't), I submit to you is...
Read moreWe recently visited Chopsticks Asian Cuisine, for their made-to-order all-you-can-eat lunch special at $18.95 per person, available until 2:30 PM, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The freshness of the food was outstanding, with every dish bursting with vibrant flavors. The service was incredibly quick and efficient, ensuring we never had to wait long for our next order.
We took full advantage of the all-you-can-eat option and sampled a great variety of their dishes, ranging from sushi to salads to noodles and soup—everything our stomachs could handle! While I wasn’t a fan of the Thai coconut chicken soup, my boyfriend absolutely loved it. Despite being a small place, it has a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The restaurant seems to be a hidden gem and a local hotspot, and now I understand why. The attention to detail, from the presentation of the dishes to the friendly demeanor of the staff, contributed to an overall delightful dining experience.
My boyfriend and I will definitely be returning for more delicious meals and great service. Highly recommend trying this spot if you're...
