Healthy Delights Cafe — Restaurant in Coral Springs

I rarely ever feel the need to write reviews, but this is the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced! A younger pregnant woman served my mother and I. She was extremely rude and condescending as my mother made her order constantly telling us this will be “extra” which was not a problem until my mother asked for cheese and the young woman proceeded to tell her she needs to make a decision because she has a line of people waiting. I was in disbelief. Furthermore my mother told her that we would be paying together, the worker interrupted my mother whilst speaking and proceeds to say “mam stop talking to me I’m helping this guy”. This was only half of what our terrible experience entailed. The fact that I came here to spend time with my mother and eat somewhere that we’ve never had an issue with before makes this even more unfortunate. I wish I would have thought to get this woman’s name, but I’m sure you’ll see what I’m talking about if you go there yourself. Very sad situation, truly. Not sure if ill ever be back again. Clean fresh ingredients. Service had little wait time as 2 woman team worked the mid morning of my visit. 1 thing I would note is that while 1 of the young ladies worked in food service gloves, the one cooking crepes/hot station did not. As a health care worker,and noting her natural nails (visibly clean but...) I was grateful for food cooking further after she touched it. Both ladies had long hair but no hair net or visor during food preparation (1 ginger & 1 brunette). My child ordered Build your own crepe. 1 large crepe and 1st three fruits included in pricing. I had the veggie pesto wrap. My only thing is that when all Ingredients chopped with pesto; they release a lot of water. Maybe chopping, straining, then dressing the veggie fillings after to limit excess water dripping from wrap before serving. There was also debate about the bill of previous patron when we walked in, it was loud enough for us to hear. For me its a 50/50 for repeat visit . Went here for lunch on a business trip. It was pretty excited to see a healthy restaurant with average prices in the area. The pros to this restaurant are the pricing is reasonable, the place is very clean, everything is fresh made to order and fast. The con I felt like was they kind of rush you to make decisions and their menu is so diverse and there's so many options it makes it complicated. It would be nice if they had a few pre-made bowl options that you could choose from to make things speed up faster or reduce the amount of options to choose from as far as toppings go. Maybe I felt pressured just because I have never been there and if you went there often it wouldn't be so bad. The food itself was very good. We paid $26 for two rice bowls and drinks, neither of us could finish our bowls. They do have dine in open but they have tables outside also if you choose.
