I don't like to leave bad reviews but when you have deceitful practices i have no choice but to leave a bad review.
First the good: their kids chicken tenders were pretty good.
The bad:
they took about an hour to serve us. Mind you this was on a Monday night with nobody else in the restaurant the entire time.
hummus with meat was by far the worst I have ever had. Completely lacking of flavor. I'm not very picky with flavor since I like Publix hummus to give an idea.
we ordered the lemonade. They gave us stale old lemonade that you can taste the sourness of the lemons being rotted. My wife had the runs right after drinking the lemonade in the restaurant.
NOW FOR THE BS THEY PULLED ON US. I ordered a filet mignon and instead of giving us a filet mignon or telling us they didn't have in stock, what they did was they took a ribeye steak, cooked it rare, cut it in half and stacked it on top of each other and trimmed it to make it seem like a large cube of filet. I will say the ribeye was good quality. But to claim it as filet mignon thinking that me and my wife would not know any better because we do not typically look like somebody who eats steak regularly and expecting us not to know the difference is mind boggling.
Especially as a Muslim establishment I would expect them to treat their customers better and not pull some b* like that. Since me and my wife do not like confrontation we just ate and left. We've eaten at plenty of bad restaurants and never will write a bad review unless they've done something deceitful. And I was left no choice but to leave...
Read moreA friend of mine made a last min surprise wedding anniversary for his wife. He dropped all decorations in the early morning, and staff willingly took care of the rest. Sent regular updates, and the results were awesome!
The wife was extremely happy and surprised!
This is definitely the spot for a 💯 Zabiha Halal food, and no worries about ingredients or alcohol.
I've been with my family a few times. The place is clean, the food is juicy , and the portions are belly fulling, and it's always friendly staff.
They even shared a space for us to pray magrib once as we were traveling far.
This is the place in south Florida for a worry free experience about what you eat.
A definite needed change from the desi experience.
Place is also going through HFSAA...
Read moreI was impressed with the new Olivo Mediterranean restaurant. I know they also have another location in Plantation so they are not new to the restaurant world. As a middle eastern, I am extremely picky with my hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh and fattoush, but they were on point. The tabbouleh had the perfect amount of sourness to it, which was made to perfection. The fattoush was tangy, the way it’s supposed to be. The meat is definitely quality meat and you can taste it! The tandoori chicken was very flavorful. The chicken tawook was amazing. The rice threw me off, since it had cilantro in it, and that’s not Arabic, but it was still good. Also the beef kafta was flavorful and delicious. The French fries are made in house, so good! I will definitely...
