Queen Beans Cafe — Restaurant in Coraopolis

My experience here has been so so. I’ve never tried any of the coffee because the menu isn’t good in my opinion. As far as the sweets, which seems to be the real reason this place exists, they are hit or miss. Chocolate cookie and brownie were both pretty bad, though the oatmeal raisin cookie was great. The real winner here is the sweet roll but more than half the times I’ve tried to get one they are sold out. This place should just be a cinnamon roll shop. They will literally put 3/4 day old mediocre baked goods on half price sale rather than just making more of the delicious things that people actually want. It’s a cute place they just don’t seem like they are being managed very well. I want to give them 4 stars but the disappointment that I usually end up feeling when I leave there just doesn’t call for it. I would be happy to update my score if things improve but as it stands I’ll likely just quit coming here if I come another few times and there aren’t...

I was excited to support a local business and our coffee was very tasty. The bee theme of the place is cute and they have a huge variety of desserts and pastries 🍰.

However

I had to ding service one star (for now) because we ordered breakfast sandwiches and paid for them but after we had already closed the transaction our cashier apologized and said she didn't realize they were out of eggs for breakfast sandwiches.

Normally this would not be a problem, sure, it's disappointing but no big deal BUT our server then offered us a plain bagel as an alternative, as well as a few other options all priced lower than what we paid for. I'm guessing she was just trying to be polite and make sure we could still have breakfast but it wouldn't be near the total value of what we had already paid, so we just asked for the sandwich to be refunded.

Willing to go back again in the future and edit this review upon actually trying the food.

I can’t even begin to describe how incredible this coffee shop is. The interior is so spacious and has plenty of seating plus there’s an outside patio if you prefer outdoor seating. There is also a drive-through and a pick up window. Everything is so convenient and the coffee is done quickly And don’t even get me started on how tasty the bagel with bacon egg, and cheese is. I have never tasted a bagel. Left me wanting more with every bite. My friend also said it’s the best coffee that he’s had in Pittsburgh and I would agree. I got a mocha iced latte and I actually felt super energized. It’s very caffeinated. This is a must spot to go to if you enjoy having casual conversations and coffee places or need a place to work. I go Almost every week! The desserts look so tasty even though I haven’t tried any of them they have so many available and if it’s anything like the bagel, I’m sure it’s absolutely delicious.
