Dollar General — Local services in Coraopolis

I'm only going to speak on my visits within the past 5 months cause I didn't visits much until I moved to coraopolis. First off I want to say all my experience with the employees have been great with a few exceptions. Everytime me and my daughter go there they especially make her feel good and that's the most important thing. The last month and a half the store was closed I almost went broke trying to afford anything the cash mart. See my review of that place lol. I agree place is crammed and can't defend their being bugs or whatever else, I never seen them. I do want to say I've personally watch kids and even adults steal from the place, touch, move or just plain old disrespect the store and merchandise. Unfortunately these stores don't pay the employees well enough to deal with alot of the stuff I just mentioned and can't possibly blame them for seeming alittle grumpy having to watch this happen daily and having to go fix it. No manager I've ever had would be able to fully motivate me to enthusiastic about it. I just thank God the place is back open and as long as it is I will support it...

Idk I do see a lot of 5 star reviews that outweigh the lower, but can you really complain about a dollar general. as long as theres not straight up shit on the floor were good (look at the cash market right down the street…. now that is something to rate low, some things highly priced to the point where i gotta rub my eyes to make sure i seen it right and its dirty as hell with moldy food, outdated items and a staff that hardly cares). unfortunately the staff here at dollar general as well probably makes pennies on the dollar in comparison to a lot of places nowadays but someone has to be there to stock and its usually only 2 people that I see. So what if its messy, the staff is friendly, and prices are real low for most things in there outside of refrigerated items. I was making small talk with a cashier about delta 8 thc vapes and the troubles I'd had with the police that had brought me into the neighborhood. . . I was there to talk to the magistrate and chief of police after my apartment was broken into, and the police would not listen to my report. He started talking over me and telling me that delta 8 thc is illegal, and when I corrected him he banned me from the store. He actually chased me out of the store, screaming at me something about the police.
