Lake Bottom Brewery & Distillery — Restaurant in Corcoran

I'm usually not so picky, but this server pushed all the wrong buttons. Looking over previous reviews, I agree when Anonymous said, "The service is poor here. The owner needs to do better when it comes to service."

My wife and I have been here six or seven times and have noticed the service has been steadily going downhill. This place was empty, and the server behind the bar was accommodating when there wasn't anything more pressing, like answering the phone. Our party of four ordered four entrees, two appetizers, and some beer and sodas. My beer flight and my wife's beer came out lukewarm. When the appetizers came out with the meal, the server told me that if I wanted the appetizers before the entrees, I should have told her when I placed the order. (She didn't bother to ask when I wanted them.) She doesn't seem to understand that an appetizer is a dish of food served before the main course of a meal to stimulate one's appetite. My sides of tater tots were so cold, I took them back to the counter to get reheated. I was very disappointed in my Tuesday lunch. Hopefully, you will have better...

Rode the train from Hanford to Corcoran just to eat at Lake Bottom Brewery. Waitress was new and didn't know most of the questions we asked but was happy to find out. I had a flight of 6 of their beers, bartender's choice, it was great. Ordered an appetizer or 2 and they were also very tasty. We ordered sandwiches, the chicken sandwich was moist and tasty but the lettuce blend was soft and not very appealing. The French Dip was ordered without cheese but had cheese on it when delivered to table, sent it back and when it was returned they had obviously just tried to remove already melted cheese from the meat which didn't work well, also it was supposed to have grilled onions on it but it didn't and wasn't noticed until half way through the sandwich. The BBQ Tri Tip sandwich was tasty, but didn't have the coleslaw on it that was supposed to be on it, I didn't really notice it until almost done with it but it did taste good anyway, also the home made potato chips were heavily salted, too much. I understand places are short staffed, but it took 15 minutes to get our drinks. After that we waited over 30 minutes just to have our order taken. Peach habanero chicken wings came out in no hurry and had no taste and barely any spice. Steak nachos were decent at best and showed up cold. Cheese made it look like it was microwaved. I ordered “The Vito” flatbread. After all the wait it arrived without the basil which would’ve been the only thing to have flavor on it. At least it showed signs of actually being cooked in a wood fire oven. Only thing I felt was above average was the fries. This ain’t my first time here and have had run ins with very dark colored fries (dirty oil or wrong temp), burnt fried chicken sandwich, dry burgers, and now this. I was very excited when this place first opened up but have been disappointed too many times. It was the last time for good.
