Was in town for vacation and happened to have a birthday. Inquired with the young, foreign cashier about the cakes and she was not too sure about anything but friendlyish nonetheless. She told her boss who I assume was the owner. He helped me place my birthday ice cream cake order and was not at all friendly and borderline rude but I can empathize with being a foreign business owner during tourist season in a beach town and didn't really mind his bluntness and dry, direct approach at communicating.
When I picked up the cake, it was like an 8 year old non-artistic person had written the birthday message on the cake in icing. I didn't brother bringing it up to the employees because they were all hound, speaking only very basic English. The blunt probably owner wand around.
Bottom line, if you just want a quick sweet treat and don't mind dry customer service, they're efficient enough. But if you're buying a frozen ice cream cake for a social occasion and care about how it turns out , plan to customize...

One of the employees politely asked him to put a mask on where he replied that he couldn’t due to a medical condition that would make it hard for him to breathe with a mask on. Then the manager Steve came over and rudely told him that he needs a mask and once again the man said that he had a medical condition. Steve continued to tell the man that he needed the mask and the man told him that he could not wear one then Steve proceeded to ask him what his medical condition was which in violation of hippa and proceeded to lean over the counter at the man and continued to raise his voice and yell at him until the man just left. I will not be returning to nor will my family of 7 and I will continue to pass on the information that Steve is not fit to run an establishment such as this and that it is not worth returning there until proper measures are taken...

I do understand that this is a tourist area and sometimes tourists can be rude but you should still care about your customers.
