Went during work thinking it would be a quick grab and go dinner. I wanted Chow mein, but they were out. They had a whole bin of rice, the cook looked over the counter to see what he needed to cook, then I step aside and let others order. The server turns around and sees the cook making wayyy too much of what??? RICE! She even made a comment about it. As I'm waiting and other people are ordering their entrees....to include Chow mein.....the Chow mein comes out 15 min later. The lady fills all the orders of the other people, NOW ahead of me who ordered after me, with.....chow mein. I wait patiently! She fills mine and tells me she doesn't have white rice, so I get all Chow mein. Then I ask for honey sesame chicken and she says they have to cook more. I said ok, and asked if they had orange chicken, because the bin was empty. She said they would have to cook it and it would be 5 min. I told her if I'm waiting for the other chicken then ok, I'll wait for the orange chicken. I stepped back again to wait. Then when the chicken came out and my plate was done. Here comes what???!!! White rice. I asked the 1st lady if they have white rice, she said yes, she now has it. I'm like, SERIOUSLY?! She didn't say it was cooking or they were waiting on it. She told me and multiple customers that she didn't have it. Like AT ALL! A decade later I get food and make it back to work for an unexpected long night. I only went for that reason and any other time I...
Read moreI've been coming here for several months now. Yes the food is a constant, and tastes the same as any other Panda. The staff however, are rude. I usually come here a few times per week, after peak lunch times (usually 1:30-2PM) and get orange chicken and rice. The last few times, I've noticed my portions getting smaller, and today I ordered a triple entre of orange chicken and fried rice (I was pretty hungry). The girl behind the counter gave me too scoops, and on the third scoop it literally had three, yes THREE pieces of chicken in it. When I challenged them, they got defensive and told me I they gave me a triple, when I told them I only saw three pieces of chicken in the scoop they reluctantly dumped another scoop of chicken onto the plate and told me they're not doing this again.
If you're so cheap that you're going to shortchange me 3/4 of a scoop but still charge me for it, and get defensive when I request more, when I come here regularly, then you don't deserve my service. There are plenty of other food options, and I'll happily take my business and...
Read moreI normally don't eat out at fast food Chinese restaurants due to the poor quality of the food.
However, I was pleasantly surprised today for a more pleasant experience at this Panda Express location on the Naval Base. We ordered the Family meal that was more than enough for 4 hungry people with extras to bring home. Sahar helped our family with providing 3 freshly prepared dishes upon request. We didn't mind the 15 min wait.
She was incredibly attentive and respectful in her communication and honoring us as though we were the most important customers she was serving.
The teriyaki chicken was prepared without the sauce which we asked for. The beef broccoli was perfectly made with bright green colorful broccoli that were delicious. The Kung Pow Chicken could have used much less sauce in order to enjoy the flavors of the veggies and chicken.
Overall, we enjoyed the good food and delightful service. Thank you Sahar for your attentiveness and...
