About a month and a half ago, I placed an order here. After completing my purchase, I noticed that I wasn’t offered a receipt by the server, a woman of Mexican descent. I then saw a sign that stated, “If your server does not offer a receipt, speak to a manager for a full refund.” When I realized this, I was about to take a photo of the sign when the same woman rushed back to the register and printed my receipt. Although there was some difficulty in communication, I asked to speak with a manager. However, I was told no manager was on duty, and they gave me a phone number instead.
I called the number right away and spoke with Lorna, who assured me I’d receive a refund. She also advised me to return and get a receipt as proof from the employees. When I did, the women told me that the refund had already been processed. Trusting them, I left.
After weeks of checking my bank statement, I noticed I hadn’t received the refund, nor was there any pending transaction. I stayed in regular contact with Lorna, but after some initial responses, she eventually stopped replying. Now, almost two months later, I still haven’t received the refund. I have the exact date, time, and amount I paid, and based on the Navy Exchange policy clearly posted at the register, it’s reasonable to expect they honor the refund...
Read moreI don't typically write reviews for places but some very terrible reviews written for this subway made me question if it was as bad as it sounds. I recall reading a review stating an employee didn't know the difference between a churro and a pretzel. This along with others one star reviews intrigued me enough to eat there.
So is it as bad as they say? Not at all! I honestly had a very enjoyable experience there. The employee there helped me through my order, as I don't know the menu all to well, and even past my slight incompetent the food came out fast and delicious, the employees mastered the craft of sandwich making imo lol. While perhaps my experience was an outlier in a bunch, I genuinely think the employees are great, know how to make sandwiches and are very much capable of helping...

They did make me a completely different sandwich. I called later to speak to the manager. She wasn’t available so I left my number and she hasn’t called.
