If I could give no stars I would. I would even give them a negative star. Our waitress esmer was very rude! First let's start with raw meat, when I told our waitress she said there was nothing wrong with it. So I asked to speak with the manager and yes they remade my food but it wasn't the same. After that she never once asked if we were alright or needed any refills. Once I finally asked her for a refill she started yelling and being rude telling me I needed to ask the manager since I had the first complaint. So I then told her to call the manager and to get out of my face. Then she kept arguing with me, Are you serious? Once I started talking to the manager she even went up there screaming and yelling acting like a fool. Another waitress witness this yelling at her saying don't argue with the customers saying sorry that is very unprofessional. Sad thing is she probably couldn't get another job elsewhere she's probably family. This place is a joke of a Mexican restaurant. The food is not good! The Laredo taco company inside stripes is way better than this. Only good thing about this place was the...
Read moreMy experience at El Jalisciense Bar & Grill was mixed. The service was decent, but the establishment appeared worn down and in need of a thorough cleaning, especially in the restroom where the lighting was dim. When I requested a simple grilled fish dish, I was met with a rude refusal. The language barrier was evident as only the owner could communicate in English, though not fluently.
The fish plate I ordered without sauce was unappetizingly bland and lacked vibrancy. On the other hand, my husband enjoyed his flavorful Texas plate. The homemade corn tortillas were a highlight, along with the tasty table hot sauce and chips.
Despite a few positives, such as the quality of certain dishes, the overall experience and service fell short. Considering these factors, I am unlikely to revisit El Jalisciense Bar & Grill in the future.
And if you visit be sure to have a strong arm the door is hard to open Lord forbid there is an emergency and people need to...
Read moreThis place used to be good a few years ago in high school I used to get breakfast tacos every morning before class only because it’s close to my house, they flopped for some reason now the tacos aren’t as good these days theyre soggy and cold even when you go inside it’s mediocre for south Texas. The carne asada isn’t cleaned big pieces of grisly fat. Hard pieces in the chorizo from not cleaning it. They forget your order and ask you “what did you have again?” And this place doesn’t even have heavy traffic. They’ve just gone down hill. Literally any place is better then this spot. Jalisco on cimmeron is your best bet or if you want somthing really good my favorite spot taqueria chapala on Nile is the best...
