Haven’t been in over a year because of an obscenely bad prior experience with rude and petty staff, and went tonight because my mom and daughter wanted to try a holiday flavor. We pulled up well before closing and a worker tells us they’re cutting off the line. Went back and forth for a bit before a manager came and told us the same. He eventually agrees to take the order after we mentioned their listed hours of operation along with what time we’d arrived. Asked the girl if she could make sure the holiday snowballs were the ones with the ice cream (there were two types) and she rolled her eyes and tells us “I don’t know. There’s two.” And as my mom is asking if she can make sure if they’re the ones with ice cream, she just walked away and ignored us. When we get up to the window to pay, they only had taken half of the order. Once we got everything and paid, the manager asks if we have Google. Odd, but yeah. We do. Why? He tells us “When you get home, leave us a Google review that sno-ball took care of you.” I’m baffled at how tone-deaf these people are.
Overall, I know I can rely on two things here. Terrible service and shameless pandering. Good thing there’s a better alternative just...
Read moreThis is the first time I visit this place and I like it. As soon as I walked in I smelled Coen and found out they make corn cups (gotta try that later). Of course I'd only tried one thing... the Leche Quemada snowball with ice cream, my new favorite snow cone! My honey got the Canela snowball and he loved it! This place is not modern or upscale, but that's what I like about it. Snowball reminds me of when I was a kid in a simpler time. They have people's favorite childhood snacks and treats... the kind I loved getting from the neighborhood store or ice cream truck after school. The lady I spoke to said that her mother started the business, and made up treats like the one I got. I'm definitely visiting again, and I recommend this place to anyone who wants to sit back, relax and just...
Read moreWalked in, waited in line- we were the only ones in line. Out of the 4 Employees...NONE acknowledged us, we were clearly visible to them. They carried on with their conversations. I asked to speak with the manager and a young lady that briefly had looked up at us- went about her business & pointed at the manager. I asked her if she didn't see my husband standing there she said she was busy making snowcones. I asked her regardless customers deserve to be acknowledge even if to just be tol they would be with us in a bit. She stood there speechless and unpolgetic! VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. WILL gladly take my...
