We called ahead to have 3 fajita tacos, 3 lengua tacos, a torta without avocado and a side of pico de gallo. WE CALLED AHEAD. The RICONCITTO staff screwed up our order, saw the bag was soaked with condiments that weren't packaged correctly, they showed no empathy or apologized for the poor quality of how our food was prepared. They didn't care that our tacos were falling out of the wrapping and not even in the tortilla. They couldn't give us our money back even though we didn't even eat the damn food. We didn't want pico de gallo in the taco but on the side, YET they STILL put pico de gallo INSIDE the taco! They didn't provide the veggies that normally comes in the fajita, which are lettuce and tomato, the tacos aren't the same size as they used to sell and it costs over $3 each. I can get a taco twice the size at stripes for $2 or less! I'll make sure to go elsewhere to avoid this in the future. They did not handle the situation well and could not admit their mistake with our order and were not professional about the issue. I loved going to riconcitto before the new place, but now everything is changed for worse. Also the server who took our order, had our card and wrote something down while he had our debit card. Isn't that suspicious? Normally, I understand mistakes happen but the way our order was thrown together was just horrible. Within 3-5 minutes of driving our way home, the bottom of the bag was soaked with condiments. The lady at the counter didn't even offer to replace the bag, instead she rips the bag open to see the poorly prepared contents of our order. She offered no reconciliation, she expressed no remorse or admitted fault for the restaurants mistake with our order. First we expected fresh salsa and chips, well instead we got an empty bowl and a bottle of salsa, (pour our own)and the chips tasted stale. I ordered a shrimp and oyster cocktail and a shrimp ceviche tostada. The oysters tasted irony and like they had been in the fridge for a while. The shrimp didn't taste freshly boiled either, but a bit mushy. Only halfway finished my meal, one I was so looking forward to because it was my pre Mother's Day present from my son. Began feeling ill as soon as I started walking out. I'm never ordering their cocktails or anything seafood again. My son ordered taquitos mexicanos, they were ok but the beans had no soup but dry. To top it off, there were two families that were so loud my son and I couldn't hear each other speak. I mean we don't mind conversation but as we say in Spanish, parece que los tenian encerrados.! And one family had kids running around without any type of restraint. Bad experience all around, when other times it's very pleasant, not today and it wasn't very busy either, waitresses we're too busy chatting with one of the families that was being loud. Not very professional, one customer waited about 10 minutes to pay his bill noone acknowledged him until another customer waiting for his order went to the bar and got someone to come to the register. Doesn't matter if customers are friends or family, they have other paying customers that deserve the best service they can give.
