Las Milpas — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Its my all time favorite mexican resturant for breakfast. This location is different then the other locations. I love the limonaides. Its like a slushy. N they serve it in a mug (opptional) so i looks cooler. I always say. You know its a mexican resturant based on there tortillas n there garne guisada. Their tortillas are so thick n fluffy they just give you one to start with cuz you probaly wont eat the other. But if you want the other one, just ask. (Hidden Secret ) theres another milpas not too far. Its not listed on the google map. Its attached to a bakery. Why is this cool. Well because me n my buddies r in uniform and we dont like to be bothered by the public or have our conversations disturbed by a guitar player. Well go here. Of course theu dont serve the limonaide in mugs and its not as flashy. But thats whats its about. A low key environment. You sacrifice the flashy for a pumpkin empinad from the bakery next door. Its awesome. 2 birds with one stone. Hit up the bakery and get a box of pan dulces and then got place ur order for some tacos. Youll make someone very happy. Strongly recomended...

I ordered nachos with beef and guacamole, after 30 minuets I got them, mind you there were only 2 other 2 peron tables in the whole retaurant, they were burned on the edges and the cheese was so toasted it was hard. So I requested the be remade. The waitress took my plate, I went to ladies room and came bac and my plate was waiting for me minus 3 nachos. The waitres then informed me that thbey could not remake the nachos and that's they way they came. I told her I wud not pay for them. Can u believe they did not have anyone come out and even speak to me, so I sat and waited on a friend to eat. Wow I was shocked at the poor level of business and service this restaurant provided. I saw the main waitress pouring regular coffee into the decaf pot for a customer who requested decaf in the pop didn't have any. Then somebody requested regular and there was none so she for what was left in the decaf back into the regular pot and serve that. I then asked for coffee because I saw a fresh pot being made and she attempted to serve me what she already had in the pot. I called her out on it she walked away and sent me a different waitress with a fresh pot of coffee. So I will never to return there. And that's sad because I know the owner and she would be upset if I were to tell her. That's false advertisement of they...
