Mi Nueva Casa Restaurant — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

The food was good waitress was nice and did her job well it was once I paid they tried to make me pay for something I didn't have the waitress confirmed my order but the lady still wanted to charge me more when she made the mistake of charging someone else from the small group of 4 wrong said it was my fault and had the nerve to tell the waitress in Spanish that it was my fault and I had to pay it. She even told me that if I didn't have any money I shouldn't go eating. I tried to call the manager later that day and got some lady who at first wasn't sure there was a manager working to being a manager just to side with the worker saying I was wrong and when I asked for the owners number or corporate if they had one they refused to give it. So ... This restaurant... Knocked it out the park.

Good price, good portions ... I am recommending anything with beef fajita (which has a flavor cooked to a nice texture, not dry without being too greasy. In a burrito, about 2/3rds of it was beef fajita so ... Yea. Perfection.) and anything with homemade corn tortilla (I disagree with almost any corn tortilla... Except these. Easily the best corn tortillas I've ever experienced).

Super clean establishment. Friendly staff who are super patient if you have a bunch of questions.

Horrible experience at Mi Nueva Casa Restaurant. The guy at the drive-thru window started arguing with me just because I asked for light ice in my lemonade. When I got my drink, the cup was completely filled with ice and barely any lemonade. When I mentioned it, he was extremely rude and condescending, even telling me to pour it into another cup to “check” the amount. I’ve never experienced such disrespectful behavior at a restaurant, especially one so close to home. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this...
