Party of two Arrived at the restaurant at about 7:00 pm or so on December 31, 2019. We were seated promptly, no waiting. That’s a good sign! Right? My Brother and is fiancée joined us ten minutes later. My wife ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and I ordered an 8 ounce steak, Medium Rare. Salad was good and the bread was good. The waitress gave us one small butter container and a small container of half and half for our bread. Finally got her to come back and it seems the butter and creamer were in the same container. Hmm! Our food was delivered to our table by a waiter. Served the plates and promptly left. My wife’s Chicken Fried Steak was tough as an undercooked boot! My Medium Rare steam was Medium Well but I dug into it anyway! It was tough and had a lot of gristle. Finally got the original waitress to come back and my wife ordered a chopped steak cooked Medium and I reordered my Medium Rare steak. Her chopped steak was bloody so she ate around the edges. I dug into my steak only to find out it was Medium Well. And still tough as a boot with more gristle than the first. My Brother had ordered fried fish and his fiancé a Salad with Grilled chicken. Their food was very good. I guess we should have ordered chicken and fish to get e good meal. Very Disappointed!

I am giving this review for multiple reasons, been coming here for years, and years and have had little issues here and there but this one is worth noting.. I ordered a Berry Nut Steak Salad that use to come together but now the salad is 13.99 and you have to add the steak for 10.00 more dollars, plus a couple extra small charges which I still don’t understand. Total for one salad was 28.00 for A SALAD!!!! Full acknowledgment that prices have gone up on everything everywhere I do understand that, but for a salad with some steak on it, it’s a bit extreme. If that was not bad enough my steak was NO WHERE NEAR 8oz it wasn’t cooked properly and was ruined, the salad was a side salad… it was awful but even worse than that was the way the manager Dave handled me and the situation!! I brought him in pictures and videos to show him but instead of apologizing and handling things like a manager he proceeded to blame me for not contacting him sooner I ordered this salad at 8-9pm yesterday but by the time I got home to eat the restaurant was closed and I work all day so when getting off work I came right over.. I didn’t know if you get a 28$ salad that rules were in place if the food is bad.. Dave did have the salad remade incredibly reluctantly… I know the owners of this restaurant and I hope they read this review. I have never written any kind of bad review about this restaurant. This place was highly overrated. We expected nothing but a great experience all the way around. Unfortunately we did not get that. Came in with a party of 6 three of the party ordered steaks, and they all weren’t made to order. Overly cooked, and a burnt quail and they forgot our sides to our meal for a different member of the party. The waitress was nothing but respectful and did as much as she could. We complained to management about a quail(it was the first to come out), it had been completely burnt. We just told the manager to relay a message to the chef, and to not burn or mess up the other entrees. Then he brought the steaks out and they were all overly cooked. Again we complained to management he did not do anything. We ended up sending back an entire plate which was the quail and steak entree they have on the menu. Instead of compensating us for the inconvenience of not getting what we had ordered he applied a $10 discount to the meal ($30+tax) that got fully returned. Each couple got a dessert to go but how is three $7 desserts equivalent to a full course meal. Will not be eating here again. The manager handled the situation poorly and the food was cold and not fresh, or made to order.
