El Olvido Hacienda — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

This was our go to Mexican restaurant, but these last few times we have left disappointed. Unfortunately today was our last time, we will have to start going some place else. My husband ordered the chilequiles rojo and there was no sauce on them just cheese. We told the server I think they forgot to put the sauce they responded thats how they come. We've been ordering them for over 8 years and they have never come like that. I ordered the Supreme nachos and was extremely disappointed... the meat was tasteless and the chips were all stale, no crunch to a single nacho. I ended up just eating the cheese beans and meat from the top, it also did not come with the lettuce, tomatoes, or sour cream like stated in the menu. Our children ordered the French toast plate and some bean and cheese tacos which were all okay. We have always loved Olvido and have been coming for years but we have slowly...

Not very busy when we walked in that should have been a sign. I'll start with my al pastor plate the rice was very dry and bland, the beans were crunchy the way that uncooked beans come out of a blender. They were very dark with a burnt flavor. The al pastor was hard with burnt pieces. The flour tortillas were rubbery like they were cooked in the morning half way and then heated to order one was even a little raw. My spouse ordered the burrito with carne guisada ,the sauce looked like alpo . The sourcream had a hair. Over all I will not be going back . The lady said no one return our food . I am sorry to hear that the people who live there do not expect decent food in exchange for their hard...

Worst experience ever, I have a service dog and as soon as I walked in the server stopped dead in her track looked at us up and down like, ''ugh they have a dog'', giving us super bad vibes, we immediately told them she was a service dog but that didn't matter, i provided proper ID for my baby, she had her service collar on too, when we were going to order they asked again if we had an ID for the dog and again i showed them, this restaurant mind you the restaurant was empty, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU HAVE A SERVICE ANIMAL, THEY ARE RUDE, UGLY PEOPLE WORKING THERE! I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO THERE, I never even got to order...
