Taco Bell — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

This is the third time we’ve visited this particular location. The first two times we went through the drive through. This last time we ordered and ate inside. They have never gotten our order 100% correct. On this most recent visit, we ordered extra cheese on an item and did not get it. We ordered supreme tacos but did not get tomatoes. We ordered sour cream on a burrito and did not get it. You are forced to place your order at a kiosk. I thought this might make it easier to ensure our order was correct. I was wrong. As we were eating, an older gentleman entered the store and went to the counter. No one acknowledged him. He waited for approximately 5 minutes before I went to the counter to join him as I needed a to go bag. I said, “I believe you need it order using these screens now.” He said, “oh I don’t know how to do that I’d rather just tell them my order.” We stood there for a few more minutes before I finally said, “excuse me? Can we get some help please?” A young man came up and apologized and was able to assist both of us. To the management at this store, I think you need to have your employees focus on accuracy not speed. I guarantee someone would rather wait an extra 2 minutes and have their order be correct than get their food lightning fast but it’s wrong. In this age of food allergies, not following a customers special request order can have disastrous consequences. Additionally, you need to have some sort of system to indicate to the staff that someone wants or needs to place their order with an actual human. A bell they can ring or something would be helpful. Service is great through drive through and when ordering at register! However, some minor improvements can be made when or ordering online or at the kiosk.

1. Drinks are rarely given if at all I can only recall one time not having to ask for my drinks. Easy fix though please look before handing out the order it is quite frustrating to get the attention of an employee to fix the error. The environment at times seems to be avoiding the customer in the building, I understand however it can easily be resolved with a team lead or management present at the front to catch these minor things, but I don't know how thin staff is or the demand of management. 2.) please double check orders I get it sometimes things get missed and I must say it rarely happens for the most part everything is spot on, but when 1 happens and things are missing in order it piles on the frustration everything is on the receipt that goes to the order, is it habit of poor customer service training, it's been a normal thing at this location for quite sometime management got to step it up a...

This is my worst Taco Bell experience. I don't like doing bad reviews, but I'm doing this one to help. My food is overcooked like it's been sitting in a warmer all day. Burnt and crispy. The window advertised deluxe cravings box nacho fries. But don't have that. The 5 layer burrito I have must have been in the warmer to become the tortilla was hard as a rock. Taco Bell, you need to get it together. No wonder in lunch time there is not a single person there at the store. It's just awful. Not a good $10 spent. I don't recommend this place to anyone until they fix it. Hire better cooks or tell them to stop being lazy. It needs to get fixed. Btw multiple times, I've paid a visit to this Taco Bell.
