40 years of getting my order WRONG. They didn't disappoint me on that losing streak. Got a simple order to go. Got to the hospital and my wife pointed out that her shake was not with the order. This was after I was handed the order by the Mgr. Jacque as she said with attitude "here's your order" and walked away. I came back to get my wife's shake. Jacque once again assisted me, I asked if she remembered me and she said "yes. I gave you your order", to which I replied "when you first gave it to me, you said everything is in the bag including napkins. Which it was not as I had to ask for ketchup and extra napkins" (there was only 2). She seemed very angry that I asked for ketchup and angrily asked "how many". During this conversation on my return I handed her my receipt and said "the is the receipt for my order" for her to review. She didn't look at it nor pick it up. She once again angrily asked "what am I looking at?", me "my order", her angrily "What about it?", me "it's missing the shake", her angrily "what kind ?", me "a small vanilla shake". Without a word she stormed off, made the shake, came back, thrust it out to me, turned and walked away.
My original cashier was Tiffany who was friendly and pleasant took my order. Once it was ready, it was handed to me by Jacque whom never did say thank you or anything appreciative to me. Nor on the return visit to pickup the missing shake. She always seemed angry and inconvenienced. Never a hello, thank you or anything and only responded when spoken to.
Either she is like this all of the time or she was angry before I got there, as I was friendly, polite and professional with my conversation. I feel sorry for any staff managed by her and if I had an employee with her bad attitude, she would have been long gone. Her display of bad attitude is one I have never experienced from someone in customer service.
At the end of this transaction (yes, I was quietly annoyed, but remained calm and professional, although a bit sarcastic) before I walked away, I said to her "I apologize to you for the inconvenience of you having to complete my order".
Congratulations Whataburger for the continued marathon of getting my order wrong! I was disappointed as usual.
BTW: I only came here as it was after 10 pm and not much was open as far as restaurants go and I don't do...

Ordered a simple number 1 with fries and chocolate mint shake. Simple right? Nothing special. We waited about 14 minutes ( busy night at around 9pm) and we received our order than back on the road again. The burger was not even warm, there was so much mustard on it that it squoze out the sides and the "limited time" special shake was had a extremely fake flavor. Could not even taste the chocolate nor the mint. This was our first (and last) visit to this chain of restaurants. The logo is that they dont try to sell the most burgers only the best, making a jab at McDonald's. Well, I dont really care for McDonald's all that much but at least their food is always at the right temp, not layered in mustard and their chocolate shakes taste like a shake. We tossed the food and shake. We didn't take time to turn around on the highway to head back for a refund or exchange, I already waited too much highway time for nasty first vist. Beware!!!! My family responded with, well I usually order about $50 worth of food regularly⌠his responsive was so you ordered an extra one for tonight? Uncalled for.
