6-22-2025...5-515pm...We've not eaten here since way before Covid...Take home order...I got the fish, not as salty as before...I told the boy taking my order that I did not like spicy, I ordered the fried pickles....now, you'd think after telling him I did not like spicy, he'd have the courtesy to tell me the pickles would be spicy....nope, into the trash they went....my husband got the 3pc chicken, he did say the chicken was good, but the chicken breast was raw in the middle....I ordered 2 sides as we were leaving, $6 plus for 2 SMALL sides....the dining room looked clean, but sad and gloomy....service needs to be upgraded....when we walked in, neither the girl with the spiked bracelets nor the tall guy with the shaggy hair said "hello or welcome to the store"....he was sitting/leaning on the counter in front of the register facing the kitchen....after paying for the additional sides on our way out, the boy at the cash register, WITHOUT a word to us, turned his back on us to again lean against the counter....what the hell, do we get our own sides??.....another employee handed him our sides to give to us, we said thank you and left....again, no "thank you for coming"......Store courtesy-F, Dining room cleanliness-C, Dining room look-D......something to remember....no matter how good food might taste,...if there is no good customer service or a welcoming environment....you won't get any returning customers ≈================ First year the store opened--My family likes everything about Chicken Express, I normally get the fish, but the last two times it has been so salty that I have thrown it in the trash. In my opinion, the fish was much better when the store...
Read moreSo, let me preface this by saying I LOVE Chicken Express and I’ve been a repeat customer at this particular location for a while. Well the 1 star is because I’ve gotten food poisoning from this location twice. The first time was just over a week ago and I had mild symptoms, but I love CE so I figured someone just didn’t cook something properly and gave them a pass. Well this past Thursday night, I ate from there again and Friday morning I was in horrifying pain, vomiting and other awful things going on. The abdominal pain was so bad and I was so dehydrated that I couldn’t move off the floor and my family had called 911. I spent all morning in the ER getting fluids and meds to help me. They finally came to the conclusion that yes, it was food poisoning from the dinner I’d eaten which was from chicken express. When I spoke to my husband about him picking it up, he stated that there was a very large order (football team sized) that was being filled. I’m going to assume that the rush may have caused some food to be undercooked. I’m praying no one else suffered this severe pain I did. My family will be going to a different Chicken Express (if at all) in the...
Read moreWent to the drive-thru to pick up dinner. I ordered two 2pc fish w/ fried okra & mashed potatoes. Also ordered one 2pc chicken w/fried okra & mashed potatoes and spent $34. They had me pull up to wait for my order. No problem because you want your food cooked fresh and to be hot.
NO LIE!! I waited 25 minutes as I saw many cars come and go frim behind me. That's not why I gave low stars. The chicken was SO COLD & DRIED OUT as if it were cooked early that morning. (Reminding you I said I was picking up dinner) Now let's talk about the okra!!! One reason to have to drive up and wait for your order is because YOU'D THINK they will be cooking it fresh. SO SO SO WRONG! This was the saddest excuse for them to even have okra on the menu! Now the fish on other hand was still warm (not hot, but warm) which is why the food received one star. We had to throw out the chicken and one of us at the okra any way. The mash potatoes we just had to re-heat in the microwave. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAD TO WAIT 25 MINUTES???? I gave one star for service only because the staff greeted me...
