Nice workers, and nice atmosphere so nothing wrong there!
I give 4 stars because I think it's too pricey. I'm not sure how hard it is to make these mochi donuts and the other items, so this is just my initial impression.
And I wasn't impressed enough to say it was worth the price.
I wasn't sure what to expect with the mochi DONUT. but if you've ever had those mochi ice cream balls in the frozen section of HEB? That chewy mochi texture? Well, that's is exactly what it is! Only combined in a donut! Lol
Unfortunately I'm not a super mochi fan. So that probably contributes to my impression. I was left craving a Krispy Kreme donut 🍩 🤣😅 BUT if you like mochi, then you may like it!
People aren't joking when they are talking about a semi-chewy donut! The mochi gives it that chewy texture (that's what I assume).
We only ordered the donuts and the original corn dog and tge potato corn dog.
Again, I wasn't a super fan of the breading. I also thought there was too much cheese to meat ratio. I would've preferred a whole hotdog surround by cheese than half cheese half dog. (Although it did say on the menu half cheese half hotdog, so you get an idea of what you'll be receiving)
Which by the way.. a regular ol' weenie!? I thought it'd actually be like a sausage or something, but it seemed like just a cheap weenie brand 😂🤦♀️ nothing special about it unfortunately.
On another note, if you are not a fan of mozzarella sticks...you probably won't be a fan of these corn dogs. Which...yet again...I am not a big fan of mozzarella sticks either!! 🤣😅 BUT if you are, then you'll probably appreciate all the mozzarella goodness! (Like my husband did hahaha)
Overall if you have some monies to spend and would like to try something different, give them a try.
If you dont have the money, don't feel like you're missing out on too much.
Again this is based on the mochi donuts and original and potato corn dog.
There are lots of other good places to try drinks so I didn't really pay attention to their prices, and I don't know anything about their...
Read moreIt’s a really good lil restaurant. Hopefully they expand in the future. Arrived around 3:30ish, and quite of few people started to show up(awesome).
Food was really good, I enjoyed my lemon pepper wings. I asked for the 10pc boneless…I did half and half; lemon pepper and honey bbq. The honey bbq tasted like wings and mores sauce(from what I had). Fries were ok and seasoned well. I understand they just opened, but hopefully they bring out the food all in one shot. My fries were brought out first, and then my wings like 3/4 mins later. Something i don’t like. But again, hopefully the flow of their speed will improve. The table we sat at was somewhat small for our meals but we managed. I’m sure they’ll upgrade in the future when traffic flows through.(they recently opened). Our waitress was very helpful and answered our questions(forgot her name, and thank you). Will be back again to try other choices! (Mho)
Check out the food and drink menus!(photos...
Read moreI went opening day and was impressed... So I came back. 2nd tripped suck balls so bad I wont be back. I had the milk tea opening day, today got milk tea again. Tastes different and so weird I hate it. My dad got a lattee. Lattee is barely warm and I doubt they understand how to make a lattee, pretty sure they steamed the milk and 'coffee' together instead of seperate like youre supposed to. Milk was foamed weirdly (like not how it normally is in a lattee), and when girl gave it to me she told me to stir it cause it was seperated, which was weird. I was watching them make it and never saw them steam the milk seperate, so idk what they did. Like what? I got the molten lava cake. Cake is cold, even the center of this lava cake is cold. Ice cream int creamy. Its just hard ice. Gross. I have never regretted so hard buying anything here. I feel sad with my purchase and feel like I spent 23 bucks on trash. Not coming back if this is...
