I've had a couple of bad experiences (See Below).
The 1st was around 7 PM, a teenage employee seemed to be pissed off at the world, nothing but frowns (I'm not saying that I demand smiling faces but this dude's frown was bad). I ordered a simple #1(all the way) w/ a Coca-Cola, and he had me to pull up even though no one was behind me. As soon as I pulled up, he brought out my food out so it was pointless. To cheer him up, I tried making a "men humor" type joke (that won't be repeated here) between me and him, and was heard clearly but wasn't acknowledged. He handed me a crumpled up Whataburger paper bag with my food inside, and walked away.
The 2nd was months later around 11 PM. I went to the drive through and ordered a #2 (Custom Order), and a #1 (Custom Order). After I finished, the lady on the intercom said, "Wait... repeat that again". After repeating the entire order over again, I was met with nothing but science for no less than 2 minutes, with me yelling, "hello?" every few seconds. She finally answered with, "Yes sir"? I said, "You didn't repeat my order, give me the total, or even tell me to drive up". She replied shortly with, "drive up". When I drove up to the window, I discovered she was the MANAGER! She repeated my order, and got it wrong. I told her the correct order and she rolled her eyes, while taking the food back. After mere seconds, she came back (as if she didn't even check) and handed me the bag of food while saying "have a nice night", and shut the window. The mobile ordering process was effortlessâselecting my meal, customizing my order, and checking out took just a few taps. By the time I arrived, my order was already being prepared, making the entire pickup process quick and efficient.
But what really stood out was my experience inside the restaurant. The facility was spotlessly clean, and the crew was on point. There were plenty of workers, all moving with purpose and professionalism, making sure everything was running smoothly. Every team member I interacted with was polite, attentive, and clearly took pride in their work.
Now, letâs talk about the foodâperfection. My order was 100% correct, down to the last detail, including my condiments. My fries were hot and fresh, and my meal tasted just as good as it looked. Itâs rare to get everything exactly how you ordered it at fast-food places, but this team got it right.
