QMcDonald’s After Dark: A Magical Experience in Being Ignored
Ah yes, McDonald’s — open 24 hours! That is, unless you're expecting things like food, service, or the presence of a single functioning employee after sundown. I had the absolute privilege of sitting in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes, basking in the glow of the menu board while no one acknowledged my existence. Not a “hi,” not a “one moment,” not even the courtesy of a robotic “please pull forward.” Just pure, existential silence. Eventually, I rolled up to the window thinking maybe, just maybe, I’d get some help. Silly me. The staff treated me like I was trying to break into Fort Knox — no eye contact, no movement, just an impressive commitment to pretending I wasn’t there. I guess the night shift is staffed by vampires, because they clearly can’t operate after dark. And if you do get someone to speak to you? Buckle up — you’re about to experience customer service so lifeless, it makes the food look gourmet. They act like you're personally ruining their lives by ordering a burger. I'm honestly shocked they don’t just hand you a mirror so you can serve yourself. And let’s not even talk about my poor, doomed dreams of a frappe. If it’s after 8pm, just go ahead and pour one out… because you’re definitely not getting one. Five stars for comedy. Zero for...
Read moreWhen I went in there I expected it to be a good service . But in reality I got a horrible service when I went up to ask for sum ketchup there was two ladies that pack the food they saw that I needed help but they just kept looking at me and they started talking and laughing. Until, the manager came up to me and asked if “I needed something” she also told them why were they just looking and not helping me and there was this girl that said “Well it’s her fault for just standing there and not saying anything”. But she said it in Spanish. I understand I didn’t say anything but it’s there job to come up and ask if we need anything I work in a fast food job and no matter how busy it is I still have the chance to respect my customers and I am only 16 and respecting my customers and knowing they are older it’s embarrassing seeing yall have employees like that. Hopefully yall can do something about the employees yall have. Just let them know if they don’t like the job they have to just not work it’s not fair that people have to go...
Read moreThe lady manager I spoke to on the phone was rude and did not want to replace my messed order all cus I didn’t come the next day and was trying to come a few days later. Well I’m sorry I don’t live in town and takes me alil while to be able to come back to their store. I have worked in the fast food business for a long time and as a co-manager of my place of work if a customer calls saying they didn’t get their messed up order and was able to finally come get it that day then I would be more then willing to replace their order because I know they are gunna spread the word that I was nice and was willing to fix our mistake not be rude and dismiss the customers complaints. I know this McDonald’s is new but they need better management or need to get rid of the Hispanic one that I just spoke to on the phone. I would give her name but she never gave it to me cus she knows she did wrong and shouldn’t be in her position and have her...
