Bought a rear tine tiller on March 21,2019. When I got it home it wouldn't start. Tried for an hour cranking and cranking. Finally I pulled the spark plug and it looked like it had been ran. I.E. NOT NEW!!. Next I pulled the air breather and found out that the throttle cable was loose, and had been for quite awhile since the cable housing was worn through and exposing bare cable which wouldn't tighten since the diameter was now too small for the set clamp to hold securely. I adjusted it and put a shim under the clamp so it would hold. Finally it started. Made one swipe in a 20 foot garden and noticed the left side plate covering the tines was hanging loose. Upon inspection I see the retaining nut (special wing nut encased in a plastic) was Missing along with the attached bolt. I contacted Attwoods in Corsicana where I had just bought it the same day and talked to Chris? The alleged manager of the department. I requested a new throttle cable, clamp and the wing nut and bolt that was shy upon delivery. He said he would have to contact his supplier on the cable. Then he said he had bolts and nuts in the store. I told him I wanted the proper nut it was supposed to have. It's made to be easy removal of the side plate for certain conditions. He said that he would get back to me. That was march 22, 2019. I have yet to hear from anyone from Attwoods or supplier regarding this. They had a special offer for a Yardmax hat if I completed a survey which I did. Yesterday, April 9, 2019 I received the hat. Still no parts or communication from Attwoods. Ya'll know how long it takes to receive these special offers and yet Attwoods refuses to honor their warranty!!! I'll never shop there again....
Read moreAtwood's Corsicana is an Awesome store for your many needs. To me, it's got just about anything your looking for except groceries and medications. It's a Ranch and Home Shopping Supply Paradise. I'd rather go to Atwood's Corsicana than I would to Walmart. This store is actually in the old Walmart Store that was located in the strip mall back in the 1980's-1990's. So it is very large and full of products consumers need and use on a daily basis. It's clean, neatly organized and has a friendly helpful Staff. Easily accessable right off West 7th Ave./West Hwy 31. Plenty of parking and you can take your pets inside no questions ask. Well, I have seen many dog lovers with their pets inside, as well as myself and my wife have taken our 2 dogs inside. Make this store your first stop if you need an item that isn't grocery related. They have lots of items, too many to even hint a list at and are reasonably priced. Give them your business and make sure this store stays anchored here in friendly...
Read moreI don’t mind the prices or even the fact that when asking an employee a question, they say they don’t know. What I do mind is when paying at the register and the cashier “Madison” asked me what type of bird bag it was. We have like five bags, I said I didn’t know and I told her that usually I get overcharged so they should use the scanner. However she got mad and finally took her lazy ass to scan the bag. We shop every week there and I do not appreciate these cashiers just putting in a price without using the scanning gun. This happened Saturday morning 12/21/24. Mr. Owner, I do not need an apology from you but that you would tell your employees to use the scanning gun to do their job. She failed to ask me if we were veterans or the other to get a discount even though she had asked the previous customer. This location is in Corsicana, Tx. They were not busy. If you don’t want to deal with customers and do your job, then you should not work there. Mr. owner this...
