The food was fairly good. I would sorta consider this an okay takeout spot. The inside of the restaurant was a little bit off. The food was okay. I had the street tacos that were $5 each and the meat seemed over cooked. The meat might have been reheated from the previous day now that I think about it. They were a little bit over priced for what they were. We visited right before noon on a weekday. The tables and seats had crumbs on it from the night before. The tables were all meant for 2 people. The lunch rush hadn't started yet when we got there. The floor felt like there was a layer of grease on it. There's a smaller area at the front of the restaurant that has a small step down (3-4 inches). There's no sign advising it except for some small caution tape on the floor that has been there for a while. All of this and I think they also expect the patrons to buss...

Food was ok. Tacos look nothing like the photos. Just meat, onion and cilantro. I hate cilantro. Friend ordered chicken but got beef. 40% of people in the US say cilantro taste like soap but they piled it on. Table behind us was having trouble getting what they ordered. Confusing place. Have to order at the counter and pay, then they bring your food to the table. No service. No sign to tell you that. We waited since there was a long line. We thought we were waiting to be seated and the line was for people checking out. Food was brought out fairly fast. It's a newer restaurant so maybe they just need to gets the kinks worked out but don't think I will be back. Prices...

I placed an order for pick up over the phone and the woman was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the veggie burrito and the pollo burrito. The pollo burrito tasted average, not overly flavorful but was a very large portion. The veggie burrito was also really big but, unlike the crispy pollo tortilla, the veggie burrito was really greasy and not crispy. The choice and size of the vegetables was also not great: very large pieces of celery and carrots and onion mixed in with smaller sized peppers made it hard to eat without just opening up the tortilla and using a fork. The guacamole and salsa were pretty good but could have used...

We stopped by for lunch after a local—one of the kind librarians in town—highly recommended it, and she was absolutely right! From the moment we walked in, we were met with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service. The food was incredibly fresh, packed with authentic flavors, and served in generous portions. Our server was attentive and made us feel genuinely cared for. The restaurant itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a cozy vibe. And let’s talk about their piña coladas—so refreshing and delicious! If you’re looking for a fantastic place to eat with family or friends, this is it. You won’t regret it!

Eating here again, had the Birria tacos and a lengua and again, it was delicious! Just had lunch here with my godmother who has been raving about the food as she's local and has been here more then several times and highly recommends it. The food was fantastic! She had the birria tacos, I had one also plus lengua tacos and they are generous with their portions and the flavors are fantastic! Would definitely come again and again. The prices are very fair! The service was so friendly! Please come support this amazing cantina

Hands down the best and most authentic Mexican food in Montezuma County! I had the Birria taco (which won best taco in Cortez and Montezuma County 2023) the fish taco and carne asada taco. SO DELICIOUS! Trust me. Don’t wait. Don’t pass go. Go here instead! Oh and don’t forget to order the hand made Cadillac Margarita from Aldo at the bar! So good 😋 All their food and salsas in their salsa bar and hand made to order. Great good at decent prices. You cannot go wrong here!
