I am NEVER shopping here again. My family and I have been shopping here for years. And today 11/15, my mom went in to do some gift shopping. More than 2 employees were rude to her. She wanted to know prices on some coffee mugs, and a few other items. Unfortunately, she received terrible customer service. First Darrell helped her, and all he kept saying to her is..."you have no money, what are you doing here!?" So then my mom decided to go to another employee. Which was Phil, my mom asked him for the prices on the sweetgrass. Phil told her with an attitude to..."take your glasses off of the top of your head, and look for yourself!" My mom after this just walked away feeling upset, and refused. Lastly my mom went to two young female employees (didn't get their names) But AGAIN, these two girls didn't want to answer her questions on prices and product. They both literally walked away from my mom, and chose to help a white gentleman. My mom just left the store, and cried in the car. Because no one wanted to help her, she was going to spend a good amount of cash here, and was happy going in! Isn't it your guy's job to have customer service and upsale products!?! All I have left to say now is...Sam is the only professional and knowledgeable employee at Notah Dineh! Not to mention he is also patient with every customer and their needs/questions. If you're ever going to shop at Notah...I highly recommend asking for Sam! He will be very happy to help you!! ๐ Sadly he wasn't...
ย ย ย Read moreNotah Dineh is THE BEST! I have been shopping at this wonderful, authentic trading post since the 60's. I have a beautiful silver and 14K gold bracelet I bought out of old pawn there 15 years ago. Recently sections of my bracelet discolored. I took it to ND and Sam informed me it was probably some type of chemical reaction, perhaps a new lotion I had used or something of that sort that had caused the discoloration. He cleaned and polished it for me and it looks beautiful, all the discoloration is gone! I was so happy as I didn't know if it could be removed. He said if it happens again, bring it back and he'll do it again. Thank you so very much, Sam, and all the staff. I appreciate all you do for me and others. This is truly the best, most long-standing business. I can always depend on them. I encourage anyone looking for authentic, beautiful, native American arts and crafts to consider Notah Dineh. You can't go wrong! I certainly will continue to give them my business and hope others do the same. Thanks again from the bottom...
ย ย ย Read moreMy wife loves the jewelry here. They have a terrific selection of jewelry and many other novelty items. They also have a nice selection of antique jewelry (which my wife really loves). Very authentic and the staff really know their stuff. They have an awesome museum downstairs too. We try to stop in every time we're in Cortez. You should too. I'd love to give Notah Dineh a five ster rating but their pricing is a tad high even with their 50% off. We shop a lot of native American stores, shops and roadsides all over the southwest so in my opinion their prices are a tad high and a bit gimmicky. But, their merchandise is authentic and they are very knowledgeable. This keeps us...
