Ordered a pizza a specific way, when i called realizing it was made with the wrong sauce, the employee that took the order put me on hold and came back saying the manager said “since i told him i repeated the order back to you they could not do anything about it, sorry and good bye” I was not repeated the order back to me, I called back asking for a manager and he handled it the exact opposite of how you should being in the position they were. He told me that he believed his employee and he didn’t appreciate me calling her a liar which was never the case, I simply said she did not repeat the order back to me. It was a 28$ pizza and he offered a 5$ credit and I said after 10 years of ordering and being a loyal customer that I would not come back. Didn’t seem to be bothered by that at all, when I explained how taking her word over me just because she was his employer isn’t fair or right when it was hear say. Only then is when he said he would credit me for the pizza. Not looking for a handout and that’s what he made it to be, so I won’t be needing that credit because don’t plan on coming back. When there is a dispute between how a pizza was ordered and it comes down to taking someone’s word over the other the customer should probably get the benefit of the doubt. Horrible customer service things were never like this before, must be new owners….. Plenty of other pizza places in the area that would never interrogate a customer over a order being taken incorrectly. Pizza prob cost them 5$ to make and they’ve lost a customer that has spent 100$s of dollars over the 10 years....
Read moreFood was good, what we got of it that is. Unfortunately once orderd online, their policy is to not refund items that they are out of stock of... despite having a cash register to easily reach into. Once home, items were noticed missing from the order as well.
Restaurant credit was offered upon calling with the missing items. I essentially paid $60 for pizza that would have cost $40 had I paid for the items that I actually received.
Very underwhelming experience. Would not recommend (unless someone else is paying and wants to throw money away!!)
*update- they did refund for some missing items via Slice (3rd party app). May not be aware of other missing items? I can appreciate the difficulties of running a business and relying on 3rd party support - the original request from the store was that I could reach out for a refund from Slice. I am pleased they were able to deal with their 3rd party app to refund as opposed to pass it along as not their problem. Read moreOk I don't normally bother leaving reviews for restaurants even though i fully take advantage of other peoples reviews when making my decision where to go. My experience at Dough Brothers has totally changed my mentality on that! They SO deserve more than 5 stars but that's as many as I can leave. Consistantly amazing pizza. We drive all the way out from Pingree Grove just to pick up this pizza IT IS SO GOOD. We LOVE the Western, and they more recently added pan pizzas to the menu which are a BIG hit with our family. Classic sausage and pepperoni for the pans is fantastic! It's so awesome to find a place that not only serves delicious food but gives all around great customer service. You can tell these guys genuinely enjoy what they do and care about your experience....
