Oh, my son surprised me with a half-dozen delicious doughnuts from Good Town Doughnuts! 🍩😋 ⭐⭐⭐⭐✰ (4.0 stars)

I got to pick out the flavors, so we ended up with a Classic Glazed, Cinnamon Roll, Smile Mango, Boston Cream, Double Chocolate, and Lemon Poppy Seed.

Here's the lowdown:

Texture: The doughnuts were a tad doughy for my liking. I thought the Classic Glazed might have been slightly undercooked, but maybe that's just how they make them. It tasted fantastic after a quick toast in the toaster oven the next day! Glaze: The glazes were the highlight! Light, not overly sweet, and refreshing. The mango glaze was especially delicious. Flavors: Each doughnut glaze tasted authentic. The lemon was tangy and sweet, and the mango tasted like real fruit, not artificial flavoring. My favorites were the Smile Mango and the Cinnamon Roll.

Overall, a good experience! I'd definitely buy from Good Town Doughnuts again and I'm eager to try their other flavors. While I'm not a big fan of berries, there are plenty of other interesting options that I'd like to sample. I recommend giving them a try! 👍

A few things to keep in mind:

If you prefer a less chewy doughnut, you might want to ask for them to be cooked a little longer or pop them in the toaster oven for a few minutes when you get home. The flavors are fantastic and taste like the real deal. Don't miss the Smile Mango –...

Good Town Doughnuts might be my favorite doughnut ever! They’re so soft and fluffy, not overly sweet like other donut places, have a good variety of flavors, and have high quality ingredients that you can really taste. I love both their vegan and regular donuts. The ONLY concern I have is the price. At about $6/donut, this is the most expensive joint I’ve seen (possibly ever). They have a buy 5 get one free (half dozen), which comes to about $30. But even that price is tough for me to justify, especially after tipping. That being said, I subtracted a star due to pricing. These donuts are SO worth the splurge every once in a while. If they decrease their price even just by $1 to make it competitive with others, I’d be visiting much...

These are some of the best vegan donuts I've had. I first heard about them when they partnered with a local vegan restaurant where I live (Palm Springs) and purchased some through there. When I found out they were down the street from our hotel, we stopped by and were NOT DISAPPOINTED! We bought the mini box so we could try more flavors and also bought the Apple Cider and Maple Walnut. SOOOOO delicious! And the service was great as well! She was super helpful and knowledgeable about the products. I will definitely go back the next time I'm there, or order the next time they partner with Chef Tanya's Kitchen again. I just wish I had taken some pictures so you could see all the...

Brilliant idea, concept, place, owner and donuts! If you are Vegan this is the only doughnut shop to consider in SoCal. If you're not Vegan, hush yo mouth. You don't know what you're talking about. ;) I bought three dozen doughnuts to take to a business meeting and 30 of them were eaten and not one person knew they were Vegan or questioned them. In fact everyone said they tasted amazing, looked beautiful and were some of the best doughnuts they've ever had. I wish Phoenix had a spot like this. I'd be there every week. The owner was super great to talk with and was very kind and thankful. I'd never go anywhere else if I had this spot closer. Worth every penny and more. You must try this place!

We visit Newport Beach every year and the trip is never complete without a stop in at Good Town Doughnuts! We specifically go here because of the plant based options, but all of their selections are works of art. There is so much creativity that goes into the style and creation of these doughnuts that you *almost* don't want to eat them (but trust me, you really want to eat them!) Everyone had a different favorite, but I will say the strawberry shortcake was my personal pick for a showstopper. Maybe not an every day selection, but definitely worth it for a sweet treat. In addition to the doughnuts, there is a small, but excellent curation of antiques to peruse while you're in the shop.
